Trudging, I am also glad you are here. Glad you are choosing health and sobriety and you have your hubbys support while you fight lung cancer.

Grateful my Dad was honest with me about some things in his life and new marriage that he has not been forthright about previously
Grateful to be able to offer emotional support to my Dad
Grateful for the connection I have developed with my Dads wife, though I am struggling a bit to understand the truth in a lot of matters
Grateful for the respite the local Starbucks has given me when I need space. Grateful that I had no thought of going to a bar
Grateful to be fully present and accepting of all my feelings, both happy, sad, confused and out of sorts, all in the same space
Grateful to be going home tonight

Grateful for the bright sun & Vitamin D it provides. Even though the day will end with snow....
Grateful to be taking a ride today through these beautiful mountains.
Grateful to not need alcohol to make things 'more fun' or easier. What a joke.
Grateful that no matter what time of day - someone is always here to listen and care about me.

So proud of you! Getting through a full year, with all it's temptations, is a very big deal.

Grateful that Trudging is here with us, grateful for the support her husband gives her and grateful for her fortitude.
Grateful for Aly's one year sober.
Grateful for Least's one year of no smoking.
Grateful for a good nights sleep with no drinking dreams.
Grateful to be up early.
Grateful for clarity.
Grateful my grandson is being dropped off to me today.

Grateful for Aly’s full year!!
Grateful for Least quitting smoking! I can’t tell if it is starting today or happened a while ago but either way: Yee-Haw!
Grateful Fearless helped me with the Face Time abbreviation.
Grateful for how much I cherish and prioritize the most beautiful drug of all time: sleep—and until last night I’ve gotten some really good nights/naps this weekend.
Grateful my daughter had a sleepover and I didn’t get called to pick her up in the middle of the night (though I spent the night waking up and worrying I wasn’t going to hear the phone and dreaming that I missed the call)
Grateful that if I had needed to get my daughter in the middle of the night i would have been tired but I wouldn’t have been already feeling the pain of the hangover creep in, with the toxic fumes of white wine still on my breath.
Grateful I have today at least mostly off.
Grateful we made my husband happy after his marathon with some homemade coupons for a mani/pedi from my daughter, room cleaning from my soon, and a massage from me. (He’s run like 50 of them so we didn’t even go watch him finish :O )
Grateful for all of you and for being able to look forward to this page every morning.

Grateful that the pellet stove didn't cut off in the middle of the night.
