Grateful the snow storm has lifted... WOW, in June, really! I can't understand snow in May... but not June. Hope the outside plants didn't freeze.

Grateful the sky looks like it should be a great day... kids are presenting at the farmers market... so proud of them.

Grateful that I am not hungover or drunk and that I can help by driving them there with all their stuff and helping set up, if necessary. The first time they ever sold stuff at the market. Should be a great experience for them... 14 and 16 years old.

Grateful for today and all it has to offer.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone.

grateful for another day to treat myself well and take care of both body and the head.

grateful that I will NOT waste a perfectly good weekend nursing a hangover.

grateful that i can accomplish chores/house tasks that bring me so much more satisfaction and peace of mind, rather than living in a chaotic mess I created with booze.

grateful that i have re-claimed my life...and have the chance to do it again.

Grateful I spent the morning setting up an outdoor studio so I could work outside this weekend. I love being outside in the summer and was resenting my art for keeping me in a windowless room on my weekends. Now I have an alternative.

I had to go to 4 different stores to find a neutral canvas sun shade and then setting up took another bit of time...but I will get 4 hours in today and probably 6-7 tomorrow...totally worth it.

Couldn't help but think of what I was doing this time last year...I would probably have been well into my first big bottle of vino by now having accomplished nothing at all in the morning.

RZ...I drive by that Church almost every day so I would have to be blind not to know about the tag sale. There is another good one that the boy scouts do but that was a few weeks ago...sorry I didn't mention it. I think there was a sign for a tag/estate/garage sale on every corner today. I don't usually go because I have no money but my Mom once bought a $15,000 table for $50 at a tag sale here in Darien so maybe I need to go!

Grateful for a very busy but amazing day yesterday...my body still needs rest from all the graduation fun (we had two, 90 miles apart!) and family celebrations but it was SO worth it.

Happy Saturday all!

Morning grats

Thanks for remembering RZ 50 years old EEK

Grateful I made it to 50, there was a time I wasn't sure I would live a day over 40.

Grateful at 5:00pm we are going to church to honor my mom's passing

Have a satisfying Sunday

Grateful for this Morning
Grateful for a GREAT night's sleep, woke up rested. What a gift.
Grateful for plans to run a 10K race this morning
Grateful for NEWBY'S BIRTHDAY. Happy Birthday!
Grateful for plans to take care of myself, today, tonight and tomorrow.
Grateful I'm seeing how easy it will be to not drink again. It's poison for me and why would I drink poison? I want to take care of my body.
Grateful for chinks in my resentment armor for the light to get in.
Grateful for SR and all the wisdom you folks share. *sniff*

Good morning everyone! It is going to be a terrific day.

Happy Birthday Newby!!!!!!

Grateful this morning for a day to regroup and get things completed around the house to get ready for the week.

Grateful to have all the outside errands completed for the majority of the week.

Grateful to have had a wonderful sleep

Grateful to be working on not getting jealous of other people's worlds and what they are going, such as travelling, purchasing stuff, family events, etc. I use to get jealous when I was drinking... I wonder why?

Grateful to have another day to work on my recovery and focus on some exercise and healthy eating.

Have a great one everybody!

I am grateful beyond words that by the grace of God, i have not had to have any alcohol for a year. And in the process, through that Power, i have become a new person.

Grateful to see the irises planted last year have bloomed
Love the jackmani clematis has filled the trellis to the top, and thickly; this year's bloom will be magnificent and only about two weeks away.
Grateful to see the house wrens are back nesting in their usual spot.
Grateful to see the hummingbird's are back to their feeders.
Grateful to see all of this from my front porch.

Happy Birthday, Newby! Glad your family visit is going great.
Frances, you sound like you are doing fantastic; happy for that.
LaFemme - painting outdoors! Work and pleasure combined in one...

All grats posted here are golden

Have a good one, all.......

Grateful for another sober awakening. Grateful for the dogs' company in my den. Grateful that I no longer have the desire to drink.
