Morning Gratitude Part 21

This morning I am grateful in that I called the gas company for two extra days to pay my bill. Financial stress in early recovery is hard enough on it's own. They said no problem so one less thing to worry about. I'm grateful for at least one thing gone my way today.

Today I'm grateful for the health of my family. I'm grateful for my own health and freedom. I'm so grateful for pet parents like IWBWI and Least who take such good care of their animals, especially through their health problems. Warms my heart! Bless your heart Newby, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I'm also grateful that this morning after I said goodbye to hubby, he came back in from his truck and said "I haven't hugged you enough!"

Happy 18 months, least - a great accomplishment! I hope you and the doggies take some time to celebrate today!
Grateful today to have some vacation time coming up soon
Grateful to have seen another side of someone yesterday and that made me like them a lot more.
Grateful I can now choose when and how to act on my feelings - getting better at this, that is
Grateful it's Hump Day!

Grateful it's Wednesday and that means three more work days to do a great job for my client who got ignored a little bit last week.
Grateful I had an awareness this morning about a mental misthinking/overreaction. "Wait a min...do you mean I'm NOT responsible for that person's complete and total happiness?" Whoa. That means I can act genuinely.
Grateful my husband comes back from business trip tonight.
Grateful my little dog is full of p*ss and vinegar this morning. He is who he is.

Grateful for my two shaggy dogs laying on me this morning (even though together they weigh almost 200 lbs!)
Grateful that my new deer friend has not eaten any more roses
Grateful that I'm able to work from home
Grateful that I can cry real tears now that my feelings aren't blocked or fake because of alcohol

Grateful we have a morning gratitude list because I forgot to do my night time one last night!
Grateful for the open mind my HP has given me, and the opportunities shown to me because of it.
Grateful for another day to relax and just be me, because that's okay!

Or, it is possible a good day "to hump"...if we look at it as a verb???? lol
grateful for central AC...grateful that I walked the dog early this morning, because we are NOT going drag-azz around when it is 97 degrees later...(it's now 83 at 10AM with 100% humidity).
grateful that i did my new cardio/wts. routine EARLY AM, before starting the day....i know it works best for me to exercise AM, because i can be the queen of excuses.
grateful that I feel well both physically and mentally. (must be that sobriety thing)
grateful that my bathroom remodel project is going well and the GRANITE ARRIVES today....(the star of the show).
miss you Reubie!

Grateful to have put the effort in and am now sitting on the happy side of progress.
Grateful to be reverting to the recently rediscovered skill of breaking the football field down into one yard tasks - takes the stress away. My mind tends to look at the mountain in front of me, and it overwhelms. That turns me into FrankenFrannie.
Grateful to have rediscovered gratitude and this SR forum - how much brighter the day can be when I am not overwhelmed.
Grateful for inner peace and continue to strive for it on a daily basis.
