Good morning all, and what a moon last night!
It has been cold and foggy here but that moon was very visible.
Pretty spectacular.
Dentist fixed the crown and did not charge me which was a very nice thing especially since it was day 150 for me yesterday.
On the job hunt and some hand-off/wrap up items with current one today.
A strange time but hanging in there.

Up at 3am. Great session with a sponsee. She's doing really well.

At work, grateful to be sober and clear headed after a 3-day weekend.

Melski, I am happy you got your dental issues fixed no charge, as it should. Good things seem to occur more often when sober. Just like how bad things and bad luck seemed to dominate my life while drinking.

Wiscsober, I can't imagine sitting through a game in Green Bay during December or January. It makes me cold just to watch them. I am glad you got to tour the stadium with your sons.

I love seeing Orion in the clear morning. I have recognized that constellation since I was a kid, and it always brings me pleasant childhood memories gazing upon it.

Day off with lots that should be done, but I'm lazing in front of the computer with coffee and in no rush to get going. This is my Saturday morning and I am a bit wiped from the past week.

Have a good day all!

So bright outside from the moon and the snow!
Still bitterly cold.
Good Morning, Early Risers!

Good morning campers!

I am getting plenty of sleep. My mood/thinking isn't depressed but when it gets dark I go to sleep for 6 hours, wake for an hour, and then get up around this time. Plus a nap after lunch.

Doctor said I don't fall in to the chronic fatigue (protocol?). Add 2x20min. a week walking for a couple months.

So glad to be sober, and to share it with you all.

Eerie is the full beaver moon, foggy and freezing too.

Have a wonderous day.

Mrs D's first day back to work after nearly 2 1/2 weeks off. It's getting tougher for old folk like us to bounce back into routine. Christmas week holidays to look forward to next, then maybe I'll take a week off in March.

Morning all.
Wiscober, exercise always helps me so much so I hope you find that to be true with the walking. Also, some vitamins can help, like B Vitamins have helped me greatly too.
Up with coffee and looking at job postings and networking opportunities.
Horses later today...
Happy Wednesday.

Up at 4am.

Not too long from now I won't be posting 3 and 4 am! Retirement ceremony and luncheon is Thu 12 Dec, then two weeks of intermittent working/taking days off. 31 December is the official last day on the rolls.

Wiscsober, I'm looking forward to naps! You have the right idea.

Very late for me. DIL is off today and tomorrow and I’m grateful for the sleep in. Therapist is concerned about depression but I think it’s understandable under the circumstances.
Staying home today with no napping!

Take care all and have a good Wednesday.

Got up fairly early and have been running around since. Got my final cutting of the yard in. It was a cold couple of hours riding the John Deere.

I hope all are having a good day.

4:00 AM

Up early. It’s 30 degrees out and snowed just enough to coat the tree branches overnight.
I got a lot of cleaning accomplished yesterday and intend to continue after a massage appointment today. I feel much better when I get off my rear end and get things done.

A safe sober Thursday to all.

Getting started I hear you all.
Up at 0530.
Nothing on the docket.
I live the disabled life.
Sad to hear of a 36 yo man, homeless, died from exposure in a ditch of the 9th St. off ramp.
Just read part of a short story I wrote, decades ago, about a homeless veteran, and AA member, dying from exposure.
Not sure why I'm posting this, but I'm alright. And ready to live.
Very thankful to be in public housing.
Everyone have a fantastic day.

Congrats Ringo!

Great post Wiscsober!

Got my final cutting of the lawn/leaf mulching done yesterday after the snow flurries. It was cold riding the Deere, in the upper 20's. Fall weather never cooperates.

Late riser today as I work until midnight.

Have a good day all!

Very unsettling dream and bathroom alarm wake up. XAH texted last night about DIL. He hasn’t subscribed to the paper in over a year and hasn’t inquired about Gdaughter in over 2 months so pretty sure it was big gossip that prompted it. Politely kept boundary but I will not be manipulated and sucked back in even in my dreams!
Daycare run and driving a friend for errands today and a lunch out.
Going back to bed and starting night over now.

Happy Friday to all.

Polar Vortex is subsiding so we are going to have normals temps here in SE Wisconsin. I just want to see some sunshine
Working on a Christmas quilted tablecloth but, really not in the Holiday mood yet!
