There comes times when we muse be selfish. The guilt of all the drunken years (And the drunken selfishness that came with it) can lead us to over extend ourselves for others or allow others to take advantage of us. Selfish can be of benefit to ourselves and others when used correctly.

Been closing the store the past few nights so no early rising for me.
I'm being transferred to a store close to my home starting next week. No more sixty mile round trips to work at all hours of the day and night.

Well, some Christmas lights have gone up. Mrs D found some lighted candy canes and wants them in front. So I've run a string of lights to get power where the six canes will go....

Coffee and smoke outside with the spoiled critters. Little one still asleep. She’s getting over a cold so sleep is needed. So far I feel fine so I’m hoping my immune system is getting stronger.
Dragon, I haven’t even thought about Thanksgiving let alone Christmas this year! I do have a few gift ideas in my head though.
A serene Sunday to all.
Coffee and smoke outside with the spoiled critters. Little one still asleep. She’s getting over a cold so sleep is needed. So far I feel fine so I’m hoping my immune system is getting stronger.

Good job hitting 148 Melski. The first year especially can be a wild emotional ride, and it's great to see you handling it in stride.

Went to bed early last night but this is ridiculous. Too much on my mind to go back to sleep now.
It did snow a little overnight and looks beautiful outside. GD is feeling better and will be going back to daycare today. I don’t have plans but a lot of shoulds

Watched highlights of Packers...great game
I live 50 miles from the stadium....been there a couple times
When making amends with two of my sons we visited Lambeau and got a personal tour.
Yes it snowed and we got snow here too.
Not sure what to do today but I know it will be sober.
I get some money today but one trip to the grocer and it is spent.
Cats, grandkids, sleep, and ukes...keep it up!!!

Bad dreams and nightmare....forced it to close down and woke up. Don't remember.
Yesterday wasn't hard but I'm glad to commitment to recovery. I had a few moments peeking into the backfield. Romanticizing the drink.

Slept better than night before which is a plus. Maybe tonight will be even better.
Trying to be positive but not live in la la land with family issues is tiring and just plain crappy.
