Good morning.... needed to eat right away so 1 bowl of raisin bran, sweetener, and milk eaten.

I've been listening to a podcast called "12 Steps of Recovery," by I Am An Alcoholic (Ilyan). He's going page by page from the Big Book and 12x12.

It's good to fall asleep listening. Oops. No, he does an excellent job.

Having trouble with pages loading using Microsoft Edge, not with Chrome. 2nd day like this.

Time for coffee and a smoke.

(I hope mentioning the use of cigarettes isn't a cause for concern. I feel awkward saying that now, since I've addressed the nicotine addiction for a while here on SR).

From the land of sunshine and happiness, everyone have a great day.

It snowed yesterday, we are covered in a blanket of the white stuff. I think it's here to stay now.

Raisin Bran was a favorite of mine as a kid..would of course put a boat load of sugar on it lol...I can't really eat a lot of grain products now but it was delicious!
Wow, the snow sounds pretty, probably not great to drive in but pretty for sure.
Grew up in Michigan so I remember those first snows fondly.
The interview, job search continues and using the time to ride more and such.
Day 160 for me today.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday.

21 degrees with a light sprinkle of snow here. I think winter is here to stay also.
I bought Raisin Bran earlier this week and add craisins, hulled hemp seeds and walnuts and a boat load of sugar with half and half instead of milk. Healthy and horrible for health all in one bowl.
Staying home today and relaxing.

A safe sober Thursday to all.

We are still hitting highs in the mid 40's to low 50's most days, so no accumulating snow yet. We probably have another month yet before it stays cold enough to snow and not melt on impact.

Imvalentine, hemp seeds are a great source of protein. I add them to greek yogurt or smoothies. Half and half is a killer though, in the quantity needed to eat raisin bran. Maybe try full fat milk next, (4% milk fat) and see if that works for you.

Have a good day all!

5:40am... with no alarm

Happy Friday. I always look forward to a the promise of two days to do what I want, but it hardly ends up that way. Seems I just get started and it's over.

Hi all, great start to a good morning to you.

Last couple of days I've been completely off, starting Wednesday night where I stayed up till Th a.m. Yesterday, literally slept all day except to eat. Woke up at midnight, putzed around till 0200. Now woke up at 0600 and feel refreshed. In that Wednesday night my addictive thinking and actions took off scary. No use of drugs though. Thursday I just felt wiped out. Right now feel great, sober, clean, and such.

Wisconsin high school football championships today....always entertaining to watch the local teams play big time at UW-Wisconsin's Camp Randall.

Go Menasha Go! Blue Jays YaY!

Time to check in on other threads. Here's to sobriety.

Took awhile to propel out of bed.
Going to see The Good Liar movie this afternoon.
I took a P/T job 2 days a week starting the first week of December. I’m constrained to open daycare hours at the age of 59! Uncertain what will come of DIL so it works well. I’m not projecting the future but like to be prepared.
Half and half is a killer. I found a beatle bug in my carton of milk in 1st grade. It’s all in my warped mind now.

A good Friday to all.

Oh my gosh imvalentine, I found a beetle bug in a jar of peanut butter when I was 5!
Totally traumatized!
Up before alarm, set up my new printer/scanner and heading north to visit my horse today.
Then job search activities and teaching later.
A very happy Friday to you all.

I too have memories of Raisin Bran. Been years since I've had it since it is a binge food for me.

Busy yesterday at work so I haven't checked in since Wed. Woke ten minutes before alarm 3:45am.

Have a great weekend folks!

Good Morning, Early Risers!
Headed out to a Country Club in Fontana tonight. I haven't dressed up in a long time or been out at night since Summer... now the Holiday Season is calling!

Hope you had a good time Chloe!

Quick turnaround and off to work. Who knew a grocery would be busy before Thanksgiving!

Have a good day all!

Grocer and food pantry both on my list.
Having a meal delivered Turkey Day, but always have a backup.

Up early 0400...late check-in
signs of an upper respiratory bug...sweaty, chest hurts, tired, feel mentally off, some aches, cough, and drowsy.
I was so careful washing my hands, staying away from people, not touching things with my fingers (using knuckles to press things). Oh well.
The little things...but something got through.
Need to find some alcohol free non-drowsy OTC...I always liked Thera-Flu I can dissolve in hot water.
I'm glad (not so much happy) going in to this illness clean and sober.
If the Badgers and Packers could win it would make it so much easier.
Listening lately to AA Big Book with 12x12 podcast.
Everyone have a fantastic day. See you tomorrow morning bright and early.

Hanging out with Gdaughter today.
Forecast of 50 degrees today with no stinking wind.
We don’t have a holiday menu planned yet so I will be last minute grocery shopping. I am thinking of making a cheesecake just don’t know what kind yet.
Enjoy your dress up outing Chloe!
