Up since 0500 good sleep from 2200 on.
Hot Chocolate for a cold windy gray day...snow on the way Wednesday.
I like my life....I'm having hours of general well-being...an important part is posting here.
Need to get to a meeting soon.
Everyone have a wonderful day.

Love hot chocolate! Mostly it's coffee for me though but nothing like hot chocolate for sure.
It has taken almost five months for me to start feeling more well, calm and ok with myself.
The damage done to the brain from alcohol can heal if allowed but it does take time. Still an early riser though!
Learned today that the company I work for is doing some major restructuring. The fear over this would have previously sent me straight to the wine bottle.
Right now I am concerned but oddly calm.
Going to read "This Naked Mind" which was recommended.
Anyone read it?
Have a great day all.
Well hope you all

Up at 4am.

Wiscsober, glad you can get to day time meetings. I look forward to it. Not too long from now I'll be retired and able to hit more meetings. And so much more because of sobriety and Higher Power!

I really got a lot out of this book when I read it during my first year. There were several passages in the book that I kept bookmarked so that I could revisit them frequently.

My initial look at the homepage gave me an excellent impression. I will also join in. Right now I listen to audiobooks so I'll find it.

I'm not much of a book read so no, I haven't read it. I'm kinda turned off by the web site, seems a bit of a hard sell.

Getting tired of shoveling!

In at 0457

Yesterday I watched TNM video about women, miscarriages, and alcoholism. I think she did a great job addressing negative emotions and public opinion concerning such.

Waiting on the snow. Just SE of us.

Doing well feeling well. Enjoying all of your early posts!

Waiting on what you are getting.

I can't shovel very good anymore...I don't where I live. I always enjoyed snowblowing.

made a lot of allowance money as a kid snow shoveling. I think it fit in perfectly with OCD tendencies.

Good morning, 6:15am riser.

I have Ukestra tonight. Which means hanging around at work later then going straight to practice. Mrs D is not working today so I thought why not sleep in a bit & go to work an hour later.

Ariens snow blowers are locally built (Brillion, WI)...so I patronized them.

Have fun in the snow Wisconsinites!

Getting new tires on my car ahead of the coming winter. My daily runner is pretty useless in the snow, as it is light weight and low to the ground. At least better tires will give me a small advantage.

Have a good day all!

All this talk of snow has me missing it! In California now for many years but grew up in Michigan where we got a LOT of snow.
Should have updates today on my job and the state of things there so just trying to stay calm really.
Hope you all have a great day.

Up at 0335 this morning.

Can't join in on the snow talk (smile). Knowing me, I would view snow shoveling as exercise. I'd be happy with some rain. Almost have forgotten what rain looks like.

Slept like long and late.
Freezing drizzle here today and 60 degrees forecast on Saturday. Strange weather patterns.
I will check out This Naked Mind. I’m fond of AA speakers on YouTube.
It was good to go to the meeting yesterday. The Saturday women’s is no more. The time was changed and it seemed very personality oriented. It was such a good one for years! I stick to women only ones to share in.
Oncologist appointment this afternoon to go over bloodwork and that is all.

A great Wednesday to all.
