Just watching Billie energetically pawing at her purse and pulling all the linings out. After she got all the linings out, she laid down on it and went to sleep.

There's so much to notice when you're sober.

End of Day 114 - my first round of interview with a famous social networking company went decent imo. Let us see if it can take me to the onsite 5 interview loop.
Ran 2.5 miles and had a good dinner consisting of rotis and potato peas curry. Off to bed, good night from Seattle!

Awesome on 4 months calm!!!

Just sat waking up at 7am with a cup of coffee. Bliss then off to take the girl to school. She's not ready to take herself yet and Her big brother doesnt want a little one following him haha!! His words!! We are slowly getting better though. Had consultant yesterday and yippee no other meds needed yet. steroid will be dropped further and we will see how that goes. We now have physio and occupational therapy to help her get stronger and get to a point where she can live with this. We are kicking SJIA butt right now and I'm hopeful that we will continue to as she gets older. She's my warrior and I am so proud of her!

Have a wonderful sober day all xx

Jo, I hope and pray that it goes well with the SJIA. Wish I could have a little talk with big brother. I shunned my little brother away at that age and we've never fully reconciled. One of my great regrets.

Jo, that must be so tough for your little girl, and for you all as a family. I hope you're getting good care.
CalmSelf, well done on the interview progress!

Good eveneing Weekenders

I'm still having problems getting the SR forum to load properly - I sometimes get a blank page. I've cleared cookies etc and it's made no difference. Hopefully it's just a temporary problem.

I've had a good day. I went for a long walk this morning and a shorter one this afternoon. I did feel a bit shattered later in the afternoon though and ended up sleeping for an hour. The walks have done me good as both Monday and yesterday I was getting some cravings. The two walks I had today on top of a determination to not drink again seem to have helped as I've had no cravings at all today.

I hope everyone is keeping well.

Internet has been slow at times while downstairs at home, but otherwise I've not had any problems.

I've had no problems... yet...

Jo, I had to look that up. Sending prayers for your little girl for good health and for peace of mind for you.

Hello wonderful weekenders.

Thanks Mags for the thread. I for one have been free of alcohol this weekend.

So, I'm still house hunting. A friend of a friend had a lovely place going but it was snapped up by someone who got in before me. Looks like I'll be renting again for a short while before buying due to timing issues but that's no bad thing. I'm just grateful to be sober to navigate the whole process.

Anyway, it's 3 am here and I'm reading SR instead of sleeping... Time to get some kip....

Warm wishes to all. Forwards.
