yay for the clocks going forwards - seven months of an extra hour of daylight in the evening, who wouldn't love that?

well, Manta obviously, but apart from that

Heard this group perform last evening at a very small outdoor gazebo venue. I thought of all of you and the blessing of Gratitude. Composed and performed by Patchouli recorded at Cricket Studios

©2020Earthsign Records Lyrics by Julie Patchouli

Sample on Patchouli Youtube channel : https://youtu.be/GGBb2wLxYsI

Gratefully

Everyday I wake up And this world’s so messed up I don’t know what to think

Yet the birds are calling While our worlds still falling And I’m trying not to sink

I know in my heart Even though we’re torn apart It doesn’t mean that we’re alone

And what’s left for us is to love and trust and lean into the unknown

Gratefully Gratefully Gratefully Gratefully

Everyday I wake up And this world’s still messed up I don’t know what to do

Now the sky is burning And I know you’re hurting I’ve been hurting too

I know in my heart though we’re miles and miles apart It doesn’t mean that we’re alone

And what’s left for us is to love and trust and lean into the unknown

Gratefully Gratefully Gratefully Gratefully

*****

Very grateful for all of you.

Love to all.

^ Me. I can get up very early in the morning if I want to. I dislike extra daylight and hot evenings at bedtime.

Happy sober Caturday to all. It's warm and sunny and I've already taken Billie for two walks, a long one and a short one.

Mags, sending up prayers for your fil.

I was going to take a nap this afternoon but it's too late in the day now.

Not looking forward to Sunday as it's my colonoscopy prep day. Such a pain, but at least, after Monday, it'll be done.

Every time Billie and I walk past our neighbor's house down the street, she looks up at their porch to see if he's outside. He loves Billie and always comes down the walk to pet her and sweet talk her. He told me they'd love to have a dog but their landlord won't allow it.

So glad all my weekends are sober ones.

Morning Weekenders.

Good to see you sortofhomecomin

I'm with Andy, I prefer the extra hour of daylight in the evening. I do not like the changes though, I would prefer it if we stayed on BST all year.

Good Morning Weekenders

Thank you for your kind wishes for fil. He’s on iv antibiotics and oxygen in hospital, hopefully the doctor will sort out his dizziness too.

I’m a morning person too, I love it when it’s light at 4 am. If they just let nature do it’s thing we’d all be happy. Light nights, light mornings. Did I say I don’t like clock changes

Have a good Sunday. It’s good not to miss any of it from being sober.

CK great picture. I’ve seen the young deer spring through the fields round here, they can really go fast.

Sunday afternoon here (5.30pm) and I went for a walk on the beach an hour or so ago. The sun was still quite hot so I only went out for about 20 minutes. Now I’m just lazing on the couch

I went for a nice 3km walk in the rain. I'm dealing with agoraphobia so it was a win. hope to get back running once my hand heals ( I burnt it drunk).

Good morning Weekenders

It's Sunday morning, one of my favourite mornings of the week. All the clocks in my house are now telling the correct time. The wonders of modern technology, most of the various devices I have that have clocks auto-update. I remember years ago having upwards of 10 clocks to change, spread among traditional clocks, watches, camera clock, alarm clock etc. I don't mind the clocks changing twice a year. If we stayed on summer time all year then in December sunrise would be at 9.30am where I live while if we stayed on GMT (winter time) all year then in June it would start getting light at 2.30am. I'd rather have the ligter mornings in winter and the lighter evenings in summer.

Morning Everyone! x

Day 13 and just had boiled eggs with runny yokes on toast, yum yum . I got a bit sidetracked yesterday so didn’t have the pamper afternoon as planned. I ended up going all in with the housework and was moving furniture to clean under and behind, washed down walls and lots of other stuff so was at it most of the day. However, it’s grey, wet and windy today and woke up to a super clean and tidy house so going to have the pamper day today instead, yay!

Hope everyone is doing well xx

Woke up to snow this morning...argghh. I was enjoying seeing the brown grass finally. Oh well, at least it wasn't much, maybe a half inch. Chores are done, critters taken care of and chickens let out to do chicken things.

least - I have colonoscopy prep day on Monday so I can sympathize :-(

Have a good day everyone.
