So, I'm going to start next week's thread for Mags so she can have one less thing on her To Do list. We talked by PM.
It will be tomorrow morning early my time, or in about 24 hours from now which is a little later than usual for the regulars of this thread.

So sorry to read of the loss of your father-in-law Mags but i'm glad you were sober and able to offer support. The pandemic makes these things that much harder to share the grief together.

Much more human noise than anything else where I live too although a lot less noise from clubs and bars since they had to shut. One of the upsides of Covid that is.

Many thanks for all your kind and caring words.
As we all know it’s much better having a clear head from alcohol. Especially at times like these.
I was drinking when my mum died many years ago and I was a mess, more so than if I had been sober.
If there’s any guests and members reading that would like to be sober, shout out!

I’m in for another sober weekend but I’ll have no internet connection so I’ll just have to use all my other sober tools (other than SR which is my big one) to stay sober amidst the drinking campers. I have packed lots of n/a drinks, and plenty of nutritious snacks to try and keep me from getting hungry. Oh, and chocolate....

Like you Robbie the temp has dropped big time here too. I will be snuggling down to the last few episodes of Dexter and taking Alfie to the vet later this aft. He decided to go walk about the other day so had to rearrange his checkup.
