I am here also. 
Today is Day 3 for me (again). I made it through some earlier cravings and Halloween and it is also my birthday by reading another thread here tonight called: "Help me not drink tonight". The responses in that thread quieted my cravings and helped me along with helping the original poster make it through this evening. I admire the original poster for posting for help. Makes me realize it will do me good to be more active here again.
I am glad I will wake up tomorrow morning happy with myself because I didn't give in to the cravings and I am going to bed clean and will wake up refreshed.

Welcome y'all! Glad you are here. My Class of Feb 2016 was hugely important & we got a good group of friends on there!
You can do this! I just saw 2 people get their 6 and 16 yr chips in my AA meeting, and both Nov 1 start dates after a finale at Halloween (one actually spent it drunk and apple picking with his fam!).
No day (or first few days to a couple of you!) like today.

I'm in and need encouragement . I was sobrr for 5 and half months . But then had a few beers on Sunday. I didn't get drunk . I didn't. Have a hangover . However i didn't like the way it made me feel .
Also I did some bloods last week and my markers are lower than normal range for the liver . An now I'm beyond terrified I have live failure . Dr google is scaring me once again . I know I must take the result to a doctor how ever at this point I'm too afraid too . Hello to everyone x

Dr Google is a mish mash of many different opinions, some of which are from lay people, and all of it looks like it's the truth because it's on our screens in front of us. I no longer go near it.
I don't think you need to be afraid love....they did your bloodwork last week.....a doctor must have received those results. If there was any urgency, they would be contacting you. s
Not to say you shouldn't call...it's hard to go through these worries alone. Maybe it would be good to talk to your family doctor.
