I know I say this every week, but it's true.

Sober Saturday morning never gets old.

I've been outside a lot lately - that's what you do when there are an actual 24 hours in a day, and not just three or four because the rest of the hours are spent drinking or recovering. The amount of green is almost overwhelming in the summertime after the brown of winter. (Soa, "green" is foliage - I know you don't see much of that in London.) Yesterday's walk (there's a trail alongside the river)

OMG bim....that's your view? How long will it take me to get there....how divine honey. And you are right, and it's never ever going to get boring.....ever......I had over 20 years of messed up Sat mornings (and every other morning), and now I bounce out of bed.....not to that view though. Jealous.

Venus, that is the river my property abuts, but not that particular stretch of it. The river trail is 40 miles long - it's pretty cool, and the reason I live here. The trail is part of the park system.

Venus - I decided to spare a grief of going to the post office and called there. They said it's not their business what a sender puts on an envelope. They business to notify me that is delivered.

So, that's not much I can do at this point.

Would you believe we have such a lousy start of the summer that it's too cold to enjoy myself on the balcony? And the strawberries season is almost over.

But I bought some nice peaches and took a good guilt-free nap.

I've just woke up and the following thoughts immediately surfaced:

- I had bright swirling galaxies-like images in my mind. It made me think of powerful energy of the Universe.
- 20/80 Pareto principle. 20% of actions bring 80% of the results. I have to identify those actions.
- Suffering just for the sake of suffering is unnecessary. I can enjoy life and be successful at the same time.

So I put nice music, made tea, and sitting on the bed doing nothing and just kicking around, re-watching my favorite UFC fights, reading and being lost in time.

I have a strong wish to turn off all the clocks and just follow the Sun,

So, yes, Venus.

The answer did come)

I've just had some memory about the business trip.

There is a famous winery where they made popular sparkling wine near the place where I stayed. It's arguably the most popular tourist destination there.

Though the place where it is located is very beautiful and it's remarkable from the point of view of history, I had little interest in it.

On the other hand I made it to the top of 576 m mountain (it's nothing to experienced climbers, but it's my first mountain to conquer). It is the least popular tourist destination.

When I was leaving my employer told me: "You are the only person I know who made it to the mountain but never bothered to go to the winery".

Here's to more and higher sober mountains to conquer.

Thank you so much! Hope you are doing great yourself. You are right, I will have to lay down new neural connections and erode the current bad ones. Sometimes AV sneaks up so fast, that it is overwhelming.

Feelings like - "Everyone is enjoying. Why not me". But i realize it is pure AV. No one, no one needs alcohol to relax. In fact, I know human body is capable of relaxing and winding down naturally. Hope i remember that next time AV starts whispering.
