Good morning to all.
Men's final today Sao
Welcome to the new weekenders
You feeling better Suze....?

I was on babysitting duty last night my daughter (5) and nephew (7) while the mammys were out. Had a great time.

We have our cherry trees ready for the picking. They are rainier cherries so they look a little white but they are sweet as hell :

Morning, weekenders.

Coffee and UFC for me)

Vman - Nice cherries. Enjoy!

Gilmer - the note was sent by P.O.Box so I can't contact them. Oh, well.

My dentist is on vacations till 18 and then he has his schedule full. I will call the clinic and will ask to squeeze me in,

See you)

Welcome to Weekenders bernie
Those cherries look good Vman, I will be watching the men's Finals later today.

Apparently some pranksters dropped a fake body into the canal yesterday. I'm not a killjoy but that is pretty dumb. I dread to think of the cost of all the cops and others on call out.

Wow, Vman!

Rainier cherries are the hands-down bes! We only get them for about a three-week window of time where I live.

Looks like we have a lot of peaches and pears this year.

Good morning one and all. According to Checkiday(.com), today is Black Cow day, or better know as the root beer float or ice cream float.

For sometime, soda drinks were a controlled substance, like alcohol, in some US states. It was banned on Sundays which according to legend, resulted in the invention of the 'sunday'.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_cream_float

A/V won't leave you alone? have a black cow man!

I was at a restaurant yesterday, and I was about to order something called a “Not your father’s root beer float”—then I realized it was alcoholic.

I can’t understand it. When I drank, I tried to mix root beer with several different types of liquor—and every time the liquor taste totally dominated the root beer!

If people expect anything like the flavor of a real root beer float, they’re probably going to be sorely disappointed!

I don't even know what root beer is.
And to be honest....although I am aware it isn't alcohol, I am not drinking anything with beer in the title. Sorry, grumpy.

I grew up in Pennsylvania, about 45 minutes east of Lancaster.

My big favorite is birch beer, but it’s really hard to find in VA. And drinking straight sugared soda makes me sick fast (insulin spike), so I need diet birch beer—which doesn’t seem to exist.

I've been decompressing for two days already and I think it's time to get back to warrior mode.

Today I impulsively put my own mug design online, ordered the mug and got it already.

Guess what I put on the mug? One of my favourite UFC guys).

Now I will have a morning coffee reminder to get up and go for it.

As long as there’s no alcohol they can call it anything they like.

My gripe is when they advertise a good, innocent beverage then sneak alcohol into it!
