Please tell me you've seen Pittsburgh Dad, if not, look him up on youtube asap.

Everyone has that one uncle that talks this way... but then nobody else in his hahs-hold does. It's strange.

Glad you're on the thread petals

Brenda's yard rabbit is a thoughtful looking bunny, no doubt it has existential angst, common amongst rabbits.

I must admit I enjoy accents and language. I have suppressed my cockney dialect for decades now. It is amusing to others but not so good for getting a job! If this link works here is some modernish London slang (not rhyming slang)
London Slang Quiz | Play Fun Trivia Quizzes with Triviala

Share of 1st at Crazy Golf, a cunning bit of gamesmanship meant that my opponents had time for an extra drink or two and they suffered over the closing holes and I sneaked in.

Edit: I got the answers right but I did have to guess one (i'm too old to be up to date)

Well Mama Rabbit sneaks off to do who knows what! Little Thumper might already be developing abandonment issues.

Maybe to make younger brothers and sisters for Little Thumper, they are rabbits after all.

DesertDawg and sao...yes. I was born in Western Pennsylvania - hence why the yinz.

How about woorsh cloth?..Woorshing machine. Woorsh the car.

I had a pint(ish) of Baskin Robbins ice cream and sweet chili pistachios for dinner. I blame BC for having all the yummy treats and posting about it yesterday. Plus it's Friday and that's about the most celebrating I do these days.

ha.

"Redd the table." (meant clear the dishes in my house.) I forgot that one! I'm old and all my older relatives have passed away so I don't have the chance to hear these any more now that I'm living in posh Seattle. (pssh, posh. Riiiiiight.)

Squeet, as in, "I'm hungry, squeet!" (let's go eat.)

My central PA coal mining forbears said the word "hain't."

As in, "Lots of snow today, hain't."

Western PA, Central, or Southeastern: we all sound low-class!

Couldn't resist with all the talk of hamsters and ice cream.

MB-I agree with Ruby that you are productive. Can relate to what you're feeling since I have the same issue.

Ruby-a hamster at work would be awesome! A gerbil would be cool too. With the gerbils you can give them cardboard anything and watch them demolish it.

BC-the bunny is adorable! Hope it doesn't breed or you may have a lot more baby bunnies.

Bim-you need a hamster. Dwarf hamsters are pretty cool, but you want to get one hand raised.

STDragon-hope you found something fun to do today.

Normancita-keep up the great work!

Gilmer and Sao-thank you for the welcome!

9:40pm here, turning into bed. Bought new glasses, watched a movie, bought burgers for supper then binge watched breaking bad with the family all evening.

We are also surprised, I thought rabbits always had litters? I dunno.

Squeet.. never heard that, or should I say read that, but once I said it out loud, yes I have heard that! More like Sco-eat.

A lot of people who liked living in Pittsburgh also like living in Seattle, I have found. People who hate it like Seattle a little bit more but still don't love it.

I guess you either like rain or you don't!

Welcome LadyinBC!

Great video Strategery, I notice there are lots to choose from.

Morning, I took a rare run west along the canal this morning. Rare because the Islington tunnel has no towpaths which means I have to run along the streets above for a time.

This was an empty market about half an hour ago, it will be thronging with people in a few hours.

Last night was so tough, long working week, hard day and late finish. I wanted to drink so bad, had thoughts of stuff this I'm done..........but I didn't and went to bed and a good sleep, up fresh, some house keeping done and set for a shopping day with the family.

The AJ fight is going to be another nightmare tonight, watching it on my own instead of out with mates on the beer. Booked in for an early gym session tomorrow to help a bit.

Day 14 today. Have a nice weekend.
