Let's Get Through Together, May Day Weekender 28/4-01/5
In. I love casinos they are smoke free here and I think they do pump in oxygen because I always feel great there. I bring $20 and when it's gone I am done and I people watch. One vice this addictive personality never got hooked on!
And when you say thank you, she says, you are very welcome.

I have not gambled, except on scratch off tickets! I will buy the occasional $1 or $2 ticket.. Just remembered I have a winning scratch off, I haven't cashed in for a free ticket lol
It can be a symbolic day for struggling addicts...I didn't start getting well until I finally realized my ship was going down and said "Mayday" and sought help.

Welcome to Weekenders Coffeeinstead and Awake61! Stick around.
I think May Day started out here as a Pagan ceremony in the mid 1970s I remember there was some controversy about it, I was at school at the time so the main thing was the day off.
In a similar vein to Siri I used to have Eartha Kitt's voice on my Satnav. Right now I have Dara O'Briain who gets a bit testy at times.
Good luck with those scratchies BrendaChenowyth!

What a shame that I didn't know that we are starting early this week!
I have crrrrrazy times, but thanks to being sober I manage to keep my anxiety under control.
I have a meeting with out top-notch government client tomorrow and it's basically on me to make it work.
In my drinking days I would freak my mind out and me a nervous mess tomorrow. And then I would "reward" myself into a long "wining marathon".
Today I chose boxing to channel my emotions in the right place.
Sao is so right - sobriety progresses too!
I don't know the outcome of tomorrow's meeting - but I won't drink anyway. Not an option.
My apartment repairs progress too. My new deadline is by May 13 - right on the verge of my Birthday.
I am looking forward to catching up with your posts tomorrow.
See you)
Have a great day.
