It's like a typhoon out there! Very deceptive considering the view from my desk is a bunch of Motionless trees!
Happy Chinese New Year!

I'm home for lunch and it's freezing here. I don't want to blast the heat cause I'll be leaving again in a little while. I am looking forward to summer!

It is still quite windy in dear old Blighty, that's 36 hours now

The arthritis in my left foot is making itself felt tonight - I feel like an old person I have never taken any painkillers for it to date but I think another year or so and I may have to

well it finally got to me... I had to look up what that stupid ad was about. the puppy monkey baby one... I had no idea what they were trying to sell, all I know is that it was beyond bizarre. It turns out to be for some new mountain dew product. Needless to say, I will NOT ever buy the product just because of the stupid ad.

Looks like it's off to wally world in the hopes of finding a CHEAP monochrome printer. I doubt they'll have one, but at least I'll get some air outside today.

The dining room has turned into an office once again... big table ya know...

All those monkey references forced me to think about puppymonkeybaby. Brain, I'm with you. Although, I wouldn't have bought any mountain dew product anyway, on principle. My son keeps wanting me to buy him some. Give Mr. Hyperactive MORE sugar and caffeine? I may be a drinker Robin, but I'm still capable of rational thought.

.
The Honda Truck Ad with the Sheep singing 'Queen' right at the end of the Super Bowl gets my fav Vote. Hilarious!

High School Kids with a Liter of Mountain Dew, and Bag of Cheetos, made MesaMate's Classes Hell. Sugar Buzzes going beyond belief. This was before Red Bull hit the Market. And, orange Cheetos debris everywhere...

Cheetos and mountain dew. It would be doritos and mountain dew for my kid. I've got one that only wants vegetables in her lunch and one that won't touch the things. Although he loves guacamole. Go figure. He kept going back to the bowl yesterday. A happy medium. I have to find it. And on that note, I'm outta here! Yoga tonight. Yay!

Well I'm home and about to start studying for the night, big exam tomorrow.
Was kinda grumpy and did not feel like going for my 90 min river walk.
Glad I did though.
I drank too much coffee today and smoked too many cigs- I got anxiety and jittery.
Can't I abuse any substances in peace?!?!!!!! Jeeez.

We were actually quoting making full sized costumes of the puppy monkey baby. I"m glad the commercial didn't go that way.

hey Trach, if you make them I'll take a dozen. I'm sure I could unload them for hollerween...

wally world had a brother laser printer on "roll back" so I bought it.
Tomorrow it goes back cause office depot has a much better one for 10 bucks more. And the fact that I could not find one reference to the one I bought besides the brother site had me scratching my head. Wally world is only a 5 minute drive and it's on the way to everywhere around here anyway. office depot is a haul (10 miles) but is selling the unit 40 less than best buy's sale price... strictly a document printer. And if I need to scan anything I can use the other one and put it on a thumb drive. Nice feature... has a usb port and a media port... wife uses the heck out of it.
as much as I can't stand the internet, I love it...

It's supposed to start snowing here any minute... 1-3 inches or 3-5 inches depending on what radio station you have on... I'll give the wife's snow tires a spin tomorrow, don't need jeep for only 3 inches of snow.
4 wheeling for 75 years!

oh, and how about Peyton Manning endorsing a certain beverage a couple times. When they showed him in the locker room before the game, he was rehearsing his plug for after the game. I'm sure he'll cash in on those comments - if he already hasn't.
No more, "I'm going to Disneyland" It's now, "I'm drinking [inset brand]..." Sad really.

CONGRATS ON 2 YEARS HaF!
When are we gonna start seeing photos?

Warning, send your children to another room.
