My uncle asked me today if I had been to any good nightclubs lately. (He lives on his own, he doesn't know about my past and I'd say he was just trying to make conversation.)

It's nice that he thinks I'm still young enough but I'm past the nightclub stage thank God. I always hated them. Much preferred the cinema, or the theatre or going out for a nice meal.

Why did I used to force myself to pretend to be something I'm not?

Oh, good. Bacon!

Pork. My favorite. Even when I went to see the cute litter of piglets at the fair, my first thought was bacon. I think that SIZZL dating site is a really good idea. It would weed out the crazies with orthorexia. Which would not be moi today. I ate an entire sleeve of coconut chocolate chip cookies.

Yeah its yoga based on the 12 steps. I have no idea. But I have an online friend who did the teacher training. You should just be able to google YSR12. I live in Idaho....if we have it, it should be anywhere All I know is the guy that is the organizer of the meeting tonight put that in his bio. So we'll see. I'm guessing the YMCA has it....

Last year I bought fleece sheets at Costco. They are so soft and warm

Great going on the job front Weasel!......and your dinner sounds tasty too.

Heading out for a teppanyaki style dinner this evening by special request of my oldest daughter on her seventeenth birthday today. Pretty good entertainment but the food is way salty for me. Will be drinking water all night.....but at least this time the water isn't to help a hangover.

Garlic, spinach and asiago pizza here. I gently sliced the plastic cover. I slowed place the pizza onto the oven rack. 17 grueling minutes later I set the pizza out to cool. I then began to saviour it. In the end the strenuous effort was definately worth it.

I just got a coupon for 25% off of the place I go to for sheets, plus free shipping. I was't going to spend any money anymore, but new sheets would be fantastic.

Home from work. One more day left in the week. Took a big island chicken out of the freezer, that will be roasted on Saturday with some potatoes from the garden. I plan on hanging out at home all weekend in comfy clothes.

Well, I think I will do laundry this evening while I watch Project Runway.

Be well, Sober Enders!!

Hi mns!

Today while I was out running errands I passed the Buffalo Wild Wings we used to watch games at and the first thing that popped in my head was yum cold beer but that thought was quickly replaced with an awful memory. The last time we were there we got kicked out. Yep...kicked out of a restaurant. We were drunk and fighting about god knows what and the manager came and escorted us out. Major cringe thinking about that!! Ugh!! That's how all my memories of the past decade are!!

Oh geez. We'll see if my city has a practice somewhere. Didn't go to my Buddhist recovery meeting so I'll have to find out next week.

Yes the fleece is so soft and they don't get rough when you wash em. I'll bet Costco will have them this season too.

Yoga 12 steps has one location in Illinois and it's nowhere near me. Drag. May as well be MLD's 50 miles with traffic.

Costco does have the fleece sheets, but so does Amazon - for less. They are now on my wish list.

Hung out today @ >10,000' and caught 2 Trout in mighty nice Weather, given the Altitude.

I was hiking along at another, quite-remote spot through some thick Forest. 2 Folks came up, and clued me in that I had another Mile to go to reach a big Lake I saw from the Road. So, I passed on that spot because I had only sent Da Wife a cryptic Text on where I was before losing Cell Signal. This current spot was different than the detailed Text sent earlier. I packed the usual Food, Clothing, Blanket, and Handheld CB Radio.

They were wearing Blaze Orange, as was their Golden Retriever. Hunting Season has started. Another reason for me to bail. A 14 year-old Kid Bow Hunting was fatally shot in another Forest nearby over the Weekend. They're calling it a Homicide, however; not a Rifle Hunting Accident as first claimed. Lots O'Drinking up there, so we 'leave it to the Hunters', as a local Saying goes.

Given what time it was, I drove back by a Lodge and schlepped a few Lakes back in outta the Wind. Not much time up there before the Snow flies, and potential Death Weather sets in.

Da Wife + Stoner Wino Gal Pal wound up in Brynn's favTown of Ouray, and it appears tonight that relative Sobriety prevailed. A good thang around here these days... I was starting to experience BO: Booze Overload.

BBQed Organic Chicken & Baked Potato for Dinnah. Trouts tomorrow night.

Killer Dark Skies w/early Moonset, so mebbe some Stargazing later.

Phone Line now at our Gate gets hooked up tomorrow morning. After we actually get Dial Tone, I can get busy on the Wireless Link ~1,350' here to the House for modest speed 'Net connectivity. I just realized that I'd best put the Gate Antenna on a sturdy Pole high enough so our Vehicles don't cut the connection when driving by.

The Guano you grasp when Sober, eh?

Sao, you asked about James Corden and while I've not seen him in his new late night gig, I'm currently watching his Dr. Who appearance which I think is very funny. The baby wanting to be called Stormageddon. Perfect name for a baby

Morning all ,
Pain of a job at work this morning , how do you fit a program into a memory, where the program is larger than the memory ? shouldn't work .. on sensible PLC's it doesn't with Siemens you can compile and also "squash the code" ..

which means over time without proper oversight by people like me the memories get squashed until they become difficult to download a back up copy of the code ..
That download is what i have to do today ! hmmm grrr grr ..
keeps my brain active ..
Why does it always happen on a friday ?

Lets get going , top of the morning to you , m
