Good morning y'all!

Headache gone, laundry started, coffee brewing.
I just realized I love Fridays again after dreading them in the early months of sobriety! Woohoo!

I'm having houseguests next week starting Sunday...three of which are children. Reinforcing my arts and crafts supplies and got a new net for the basketball goal. I even found inexpensive hoola hoops ! Tried one the other day....yeah...I've still got it!! Ha!

I heart everyone here, too!
Xoxo

I remember feeling this way so clearly. ...you are being very smart to pay attention. It gets easier. In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with staying home for a while.

Yay for friday!!!
Weasel. ..you certainly are a winner!
Ruby....I loved the image of you climbing the tree. It's so nice to be able to DO THINGS after 5pm! I will never take it for granted. We all have stories...what comes to my mind was the time I decided to move a tv after a bottle of wine or two. I dropped it!! That was the end of that tv....at least it missed my foot.
easy day today. ..then an easy weekend. Life is so good.

I pity the poor guy on the other end of your challenge!
Weasel can be ruthless and relentless when he sets his mind to getting steps!!!

Does eating fruit with donut holes cancel out the calories?

Also...anyone else using an iPad? If so, why is it that not everyone's video links will play? Mecanix video just disappears completely?!?!

I meant to tell Ruby that I loved the AC/DC Thunderstruck video. That was awesome.

I don't have a plan for today, but I know it will not include heading out toward the city on any road at all. Today is "bridge closure" day. Nope. Not getting stuck in that gridlock.

This area is beautiful, but bridges are a whole force to reckon with. Lack of bridges is a bad thing.

I may head north. I'm putting myself on a little SR restriction, too. I've been spending too much time here. Again.

Happy Friday, ya'll.

Yay Sao!! Awesome! I'm so glad you're here on the bus.

Brynn, I can never watch the videos using my iPad. Mine does the same thing. It's why I use my phone to watch the links.

Verte you inspired my wardrobe choice today with a black and white stripy dress.

Bimini, good luck. Bridge day. I can empathize with that. Traffic here was bad bad bad on the route I'd been taking all week so I took side streets. All westbound traffic down to one lane due to fatal rollover crash. So as I traversed side streets I heard that the east bound lanes down to one to investigate a shooting. A mess. People are crazy.

I also heard on the radio that the local hospitals are gearing up to receive alcohol poisoning cases from Lollapalooza. 102 underage drinkers ended up in the ER last year. Very sad

Hey, well done Sao and best wishes to your daughter!

Everyone is on a go slow in work. Staff chatting in their various offices. Everyone works really hard, but it's nice to see people relaxing.

Was looking at prams and stuff like that on line there, but had to stop my heart began to palpitate.

Picked up a dinner for 2 deal in M&S. It comes with a bottle of wine - you can pick from a selection. There was only a single choice of a non-alcoholic alternative. Shame about lack of choice. I was going to email them to complain, but stopped myself, as I don't feel that old yet, and my pants don't cover my belly. But I am rather found of perusing the fancy scones and welsh cakes in M&S, so maybe I am coming of age.
