Congratulations Sao! Keep us posted.

So Granny got a good send off. I had to give the second reading and I was a bit nervous about it. I know this sounds silly but I was sitting in the second row and I looked down at a random bunch of flowers on the seat in front of me and it said "goodbye Granny. We will miss you" and signed by my brother and his wife. I don't know why but it gave me some comfort. (My Bro couldn't fly home from the States at such short notice.)

Everyone said I read the thing really well.
Dealing with this, and my cousins and all (who all seem to have great jobs and amazing news every time I meet them - new job/promotion blah blah blsh) is EXACTLY the type of thing that would have sent me screaming for the bottle in the past. I always thought that I NEEDED it.

Turns out I don't need it at all.

Turns out I can cope just fine.

I love you Granny and I'm going to miss you more than words can say.

Rest easy.

I don't have any problems with the links on my iPad. But I'm using the SR app most of the time. I also have the YouTube app.

Tetra - sounds like you granny had a very nice send off. We didn't have a funeral when my grandmother passed in May. My family doesn't "do" funerals. I wish we had. And isn't it great to find out you can cope just fine (probably better) without alcohol? Even the really tough stuff? That's when sobriety seems really really worth it. No need to mask your emotions or escape into a bottle.

need to vent-- yesterday I find out that my mortgage checking account is attached to my wife's paypal account - I almost went through the roof-- and she doesn't get it...

anyway, she removed the link... today I open a bs savings account at some other bank just to have a place for funds to transfer...
I link it - still pending,
then I open my own paypal account but I cannot link my card because it is already in use, and I also cannot link the same bank account -- so now it is in limbo and I can't do a thing with anything...

f! I want a beer! But I'm okay - just pod at the whole process and at her for putting my house account in jeopardy by linking it to paypal... she doesn't have a clue... if for some reason paypal gets hacked or some other fraudulent transaction transpires - there is no, none, zero, nada recourse that can be done to recoup money that is stolen through paypal.,.. I am so pi$$$$T over the whole lot of things that were happening without my knowledge...

her big idea of making money on ebay a few years ago... all she does is buy **** she can't use and never returns it...

Saturday morning everyone.

It's cold in the early morning. Made my tea and have scooted back into bed under my flannel sheets. Should heat up a bit later today.

I completed an executive coaching program with a company over last couple of months and got my first briefing during the week. They want my company to use the tool so I was a bit of a guinea pig.

One of the things that came out of it was ..... 'Are you aware that you are a loner? You seem like such a lovely person, what can you do to change this and let people in'

LMAO...
