Favorite Summer Music Sober Weekender! July 31 until
Phew!
Late today. Great thread Ken
All the best Tetra
This little bit of music reminds me of summers when I was very young. Later, when I was married I would play it at the start of any drive when wife and daughters where in the car

I also want to remind you of you need immediate help we will be right here but that also the main board gets even more attention.
Working all weekend? Are you able to stay sober because of work? What's the plan when not working to stay sober?
Ken
Since I don't know how to upload songs, I will list out the bands.
My sister was six years older than me, so when I was a kid in the 70's, I used to sneak in her room and listen to her 8 tracks.
They included:
Beach Boys - Endless Summer
Frampton Comes Alive
Eagles - The Long Run
Van Halen - Fair Warning & Women and Children First
Cheap Trick - Live at Budakon
Styx - Pieces of Eight
Bob Seger
All the while my mom had either Neil Diamond, Elvis or Captain and Tennille cranked up (while cleaning the house) on the phonograph that was literally a piece of furniture!

Technology win for me today. I had to get a new WiFi modem/router a couple of weeks ago. New one is fine, but seems to broadcast a bit weaker of a signal. So I ordered a signal booster so there wouldn't be any dead spots in the house. It arrived today, I hooked it up and it works! Full signal in all rooms. Have never had that before. All residents are pleased.
Sorry Bim that was a bit Brit-O-Centric wasn't it.
Mid 1960s and people (well ok puppets) smoked on children's tv! In one episode Lady Penelope was criticised for a.) Wearing fur b.) Not wearing a seat belt and c.) Smoking
Oldest daughter has finally stopped working - baby due anytime but probably tomorrow.
31st July is a Blue Moon i'm not superstitious and neither is my daughter so I don't if that is significant
Incidentally for those that don't know what a Blue Moon is well i'm not going to ex plain as I was disappointed when I found out (it's not very romantic and its got nothing to do with the colour either)
