Septic is cockney rhyming slang for American (yanks)

In other news, I understand "cheeky" - so at least I have that going for me.

I'm in for another sober weekend. Lucky number thirteen for me. Wishing everyone a happy and sober Thursday!

Whoa! Pages move fast.

Brain! Love the video. Thank you. I tried watching it once a long time ago on my ipad but couldn't. I'm at my desk computer in the office and could. Yay!

Sao, I think a blue moon birthday is kind of cool, despite the history behind the phrase. July 31 has a nice ring to it.

Casey, lucky number 13 is a winner. Good to see you here.

Alright, I'm going to pack it up here in the office for the day. It's almost Friday. Unless you're in Australia or New Zealand.

Thinking of summer songs reminded me of this one. I loved it when I was in high school and it isn't so bad now.

Gilmer

Septic tanks -yanks

It was after I posted that I remembered what it was short for hence the apology

Anyway enough of that -the teenage Saoutchik had a crush on this lady as does the 55 year old somewhat grizzled Saoutchik

Thanks for the support guys.

Round one is over. Round two is tomorrow.
Today was hard as all these old men wanted to shake my hand and I had no clue who most of these people are.

Out of all the grandchildren I was probably the one who was closest to her. The strangest things keep popping into my head. All I can think about is Christmas. I have been on this earth for 34 years and I don't think I have ever had Christmas dinner without Grandma.

I have been trying to think of funny stories. My Grandmother was a worker. She loved getting up early and knocking on my door. She would say "Tetra, it's 6:50. You are going to be late for work!"

I remember when she wanted to get some yard work done and she got a quote of 800 euro from some guy which she thought was outrageous. She said " I would rather cut the branches off with my teeth than give money to that fraud!"

I have taken an Antabuse so I couldn't drink even if I wanted to. I have just had a bowl of Ben and Jerry's.

I find dealing with my cousins hard as well. They all seem to have these amazing jobs. What about those of us who are just happy getting ourselves back on track and keeping our heads above water?

I can't believe I will never hear the knock again.

Ahem

There once were some Yanks, rather Septic
On Weekends, could get almost hectic
Their Sleep, sans the Booze
Was really deep Snooze
Except for a few, Narcoleptic

Burma Shave

Plenty of stops today in low 90s F Heat and Sun. I'm making my famous Enchiladas tonight, along with fresh-fried Tortilla Chips. Mighty fine when warm with Salt. We can haul the Enchiladas along for quick Camping Dinners.

We have a Personal Banker now, thanks to plopping House Sale Profits into a National Bank for flexibility while Trailering Nationally. She gave me some positive Recon today on the Reservoir of choice this Weekend at a pleasant ~9,100' Elevation. Hopefully, this unreserved Campground will have a spot free for us. No Reservations accepted.

Tonight, I jockey Trailers around, and get the new one up close on Porch Concrete to make stocking it easier.

How you say, may your Moon expose fully tonight!

More Thunderbirds!-)

I've been called a lot of things, but never septic. Thanks Sao.

My migraine seems to be going into remission...thank goodness. I feel like the sick kid who can hear all the other kids outside playing but can't join in.

Tetra....your grandma sounds like the kind of girl I would've loved hanging out with. Very witty.

Carry on y'all....

I'm home enjoying the breeze on my back porch.

You guys make me laugh too. Brain, I like that video. It was a perfect feel good at the end of the day song and dance.

I have felt like dancing lately but I could never claim that fancy footwork.

Tetra, you're doing well. It's okay to be thinking of christmas. It's one of those things. This next year will be a series of firsts without your grandmother and it's okay to be sad. Each year on the holidays we raise a grape juice toast in memory of the family members who are not there anymore. It started with my mother's mother.

I think I'm going to change my shoes and go for a walk with Miss Ruby.

Tetra, in this time of loss, I hear no cravings to drink from you.

Your Grandmother is proud.

Brynn glad your feeling better.

Just got back from the gym. Got a new membership yesterday. Not being hungover sure makes working out a whole lot easier.

I need to get the Rocky soundtrack
