Still the Weekender Sober Thread June 18...
Woo hoo! These weekenders seem to never end! Lol
I was invited to a BBQ Sunday and the host asked "are you still not drinking?" To which I replied "Yes... I am still not drinking"
Still? Really? I found that comment sort of slapped me a bit in that I was always the one still drinking. Long after others stopped.
The weekender is still here? Always! As long as there are weekends we will still be here!

Finally, someone this side of the Atlantic called shotgun. I expect some decent tunes Sao!!
I'm in a good mood. Last day of work today for the week. Staff day out tomorrow. Historical walking tour, followed by bowling, then dinner. I have nominated myself designated driver, so no worries about giving reasons for not drinking. My boss commented that I am looking very healthy recently.
Lets get on the road with this wonderful feel-good weekend bus of ours!!!!

I have had several comments by people how "fit" I look theses days. Isn't that just a great feeling!
Bowling? Maine has bowling with candlestick pins. First time I walk in with my big ball (no comments!) and I was like wait? What? I am gonna crush this! Until I found out it was more like skeet ball than bowling.
Plus I was on a league and that was a total drinking thing. I was a mess.

My cats are courteous and don't wake me up that early. Yet.

Three days until this party. I'm going to be stressing out. It'll all work out though. Always has. I just don't entertain very often anymore.

Another weekend already.
I'm on my lunch break, having lunch outside in the sun.
It's Father's Day here this weekend so I'll be heading home. I know these are made-up holidays but I think my dad deserves something special.
My boss reminded me yesterday to use up my annual leave so I'm planning some days off.

This is the way "real" weekends should be, start on Thursday, and end maybe Tuesday or Wednesday!
My dogs wake me up, they all snuggle so tightly, I give up and get out of bed so I can breathe!
