Sophis...hi and welcome! You too, site1.
Phew! It just took me forever to catch up with you all. I'm glad I made it.
My bedroom smells heavenly since I washed sheets and blankets this morning with you know what...GAIN!
Did someone say bacon? As you may remember, I am attempting a healthy food plan these days to reduce cholesterol and get off meds (statins). I'm doing pretty well. But yesterday I was looking in my freezer and found 4 pieces of BACON that I had previously overlooked. I can't wait till tomorrow morning! I will be basking in bacon heaven.
I had no idea that tonite was a full moon.
Ruby, congratulations on 17 months!!

Speaking of eating bacon. I have a house pig. He's my buddy. My dad gave him bacon once and he loved it.

Arion.....I'm not a bacon person either....I'm a vegetarian, but even before that I didn't give a hoot about it!

Brain....when I think banjo I immediately think of Hee-Haw....I'm a pickin, and I'm a grinnin.....

Waiting for son to be dropped off after his movie. He went to a birthday party and the treat was that they were going to see the Marvel's Avengers movie. See if he likes it. He's nine so I can't say how any reviews will translate for adults.

He used to be(was supposed to be) a tiny little pig. He's around 200 lbs now! When you go in my kitchen you can't leave until you pay the pig toll.

Gettingsmarter.....you actually have a pig in your house? I find that amazing. They are such intelligent and sweet animals and actually I'm glad I don't buy pork anymore because of that. ( I can't throw out my freezer find, though ).
I'm so happy to be home...safe, sound, and sober.

Thanks Man. My pig is 11 times more charming than Arnold. There is not much better than watching the movie Babe and scratching your pig's belly. Don't even get me started on Charlots Web.

Too smart almost. Can be very very stubborn sometimes.

Oops! The moon looked full when I went outside but the weather page says it's only at 96%. Holiday Mathis (horoscopes) reminded me that it's Beltane today and not just International Worker's Day.

So tonight is a waxing moon and tomorrow is the full moon.

And Naked Gardening Day.

Brain...pigs are NOT filthy animals. They are actually quite clean and tidy. And look one in the eye...it will give you the creeps how intelligent they look and are. I could be an animal activist. I love Temple Grandin.
