Hi everybody!!!

Happy birthday Kzaug - cool name by the way.

Sorry to hear things are difficult at home Ms Ruby.

My this thread is moving apace. Did someone post a picture of those fabulous Bridges? I think Jeff Bridges is the coolest....well, he is the dude.

Nearly finished my day of toil and hard labour. I have an every growing mountain of paperwork to do, but I have no volition to even make a start. I have put a note in my diary for Monday morning to make a stab at it - that's productive!!!

I'm just thinking about the weekend ahead. I have no real plans as such, just a few things I need to get done. At present, I have zero desire to drink, despite listening to some of the plans of my co-workers. I still have not disclosed my abstinence in work, although I have formulated intricate plans to avoid future work social outings. I'm going to go with avoiding for now.

Will check in later. I hope everyone's Friday is going well.

B

P.S. Pennywise the Clown - that is all.....

Sorry to hear you had to go through that Ruby. I think your amazing

Thread is moving really fast - didn't have enough time to read all the posts on my commute.

It's been a really busy week so I'm real glad of the weekend break. I'm even more worn out than usual as I was up all night pressing BigSomb's intercom.

LBrain - the thought crossed my mind to post some Insane Clown Posse

Weird phobias - my oldest daughter is terrified of balloons

Happy Saturday morning everyone! Talking of rejuvenation.. I sleep like a baby now.

In bed for 830pm asleep by 9pm and up at 515am. And do you not what the weirdest sensation is since getting sober? It's getting tired.
I was always hungover and then straight back into drinking.
Now I'm getting used to .. 'Oh what's this scratchy eyes yawny feeling? Oh yeah, it's called being tired! Tired not drunk. Asleep not passed out. Yeah!

Hi Trees! I am glad to hear you're also on the same schedule as me. I'm in bed at 9.30 and up at 5.30.

My girlfriend is coming up to visit me from the big city this weekend. She has the flu and I know she needs some TLC, poor thing. That said....I don't wanna get sick! Do any of you have tips for not getting sick when a husband/wife/gf/bf is sick and sleeping right next to you? Telling her to stay home might be more dangerous to my health so I'm looking for assistance!

Yeah, when I was a child, my mother used to tell me to wear clean socks and underwear in case I had to go to the hospital. I kept wondering, "Why would I have to go to the hospital? Does everyone have to go the hospital? If I go to the hospital, will I have to stay there? There was a kid in class who went to the hospital and he never came back. What happened to him?"

All of this preceded my dislike for clowns. Sorry, but they're just creepy.

I'm another early riser, courtesy of my cats. They insist on being fed by 5 a.m. at the latest. Actually, I have grown to like it--I can get a lot done on a weekend before most people even get out of bed!

BigS, It seems you are already a good eater. Pound vitamin C if you got it.

Wash the place and keep washing it the whole weekend - discreetly of course. If you have lysol or similar, keep it handy and spray/wipe surfaces with it. Anti-bacterial soap for you hands and face. WASH OFTEN. Use mouthwash and gargle several times a day. And if you can, rinse you nose and nasal canal with just a saline solution. You asked.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KZ!
