Talking Rejuvenate yourself! Weekender Thread Mar 27 until...

re·ju·ve·nate - rəˈjo͞ovəˌnāt/
verb - to make young again; restore to youthful vigor, appearance; revive

Ha ha ha! Let's see how many song parodies we get on this one! How many "Holy Rejuvenation Batman's" we get! How many limericks?

Last weekend's thread rejuvenated itself and is around here somewhere all perky.

But for real.... *Ring Ring* ... rejuvenate yourself this weekend. Take a moment to stop and breath. Look back at sober accomplishments. If you are newly sober as of this very moment then give thanks you made the correct choice. The best and only choice.

Let's do this....

Congratulations Melki! Nine months is great.

Good morning everyone! Let's do this right! I'm grateful this morning I don't have a hangover and can scramble to get ready without pain. Facing the day clear eyed and clear headed.

Welcome LittleBear!!!! The bus can move fast.

What is your plan this weekend to stay sober? How are you doing in general?

Good to have you aboard!!

Good morning eveyone. ...I'm definitely in for the weekend. This is a great topic, weasel. We probably all need to do some rejuvenation. ..I call it self-care. Those things that we don't want to spend money on. Like a massage or a pedicure or another type of indulgence. I'm going to give it some thought.

Nice HaF... I actually started and got a single ticket to the Portland Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Beehtovens Seventh. I have never been to see an orchestra but I wanted to do something for myself that would make me feel something. While not going until April I feel better making the plans.

Back when I drank I could never make any plans more than an hour ahead. I had some drinking to do first.

Midnight, I hope you are feeling better and have a mild case.

LittleBear, stay on the bus. Getting off? You just don't know where you'll end up. Bad neighborhood, miles from where you need to be.

Hi Fandy. I think I need a manicure too. I could use some self care and pampering.

Olive, I'll pass on cat pedis. I value my skin. One cat has claws like daggers.

Ok, have to leave off here. Will check back later.

Hi Everyone! I'm on the bus...the Weekender Bus that is and NOT the massage bus. Ew.

Well done with 9 months and shotgun, MELKI!!!

MidnightBlue - Chickenpox? That is very horrible and I send healing powers, or something like that, through the air.

An at-home mask is in progress, thanks Weasel.
