I am so delighted that things like this happen to other people...Rowan the visual of all that is cracking me up...stopping an 18 wheeler?

I had a whine but it fell out when I spewed my coffee on the monitor as I read Rowans post.

Impurrfect.....
if u dont want to pay for word you can download Open office it gives you the entire ms office suite for free and its safe
I use it and have used it as a professional for large corporations

for the bee sting (and other insect itching, burning stinging stuff) there is what is called Afterbite - its only ingredient is ammonia

Ananda- fish DO ride bikes and golf carts for the less coordinated DorkFish......

Thanks Frstnm...I actually HAVE Open Office, but the jobs I've looked at say "send resume in Word document". I got a free 60-day trial, so will worry about the $99 in 2 months

We're supposed to have "severe thunderstorms, lightening and hail". Trying to figure out where I can hide my car so the hail can't get to it Whatever happened to just plain old rain? Every storm, now, we have houses burned to the ground by lightening. When the storm gets here, I'm unpluggin my laptop and dad's computer...PRIORITIES, ya know?

Rowan...can't top that...so, I won't even try!

My itty-bitty whine seems so superficial compared to yours!

They're having a carnival in the courtyard today...complete with games, food, and pony rides.

Can you imagine they said I can't ride a pony!!! WHINE...or is it WHINNY!?! I'll fix them...I'll pig out on cotton candy...that should really give me something to whine about!!!

This thread is so full of WA recovery and it's great to be able to catch up on all the whines; the funny, sad, mad and even the happier ones.

I'm happy to be here, thanks for sharing.

My whine today is that I'm really worried about my daughter. She's going to a specialist today because of a problem with her feet which could be serious since she's had diabetes since she was very young.
Sometimes it's hard to be a mom.

so sorry cmc...I will say a sutra for you and your daughter tonight.

OK - my whine.....well, just talked to the construction guy....we should expect to be cramped in our little ground floor are for one and a half more months!!!!!! My son cannot sleep on the couch for that much longer. Got him a new bed, but didn't have delievered as no place to put it...plus have to solve the computer problem...guess we will move the table to the shed, put up the bed where it was and buy a second modem so that we can both be on line in the evenings....we are living on top of each other and it sucks!!!!!

Here it comes...the hotdog was edible, popcorn salt and butter free, pizza cold, lemonade so sour it gave us "pucker power". Oh...and they never got the cotton candy machine working!

I did win some games and did my Christmas Shopping...aftershave for one son, jigsaw puzzle for the other, and decorative candles for daughter. OK...the carnival was fun (more or less)...at least my great niece and great nephew had fun. Sure! They both got to ride the pony!

Ro's pee-pee whine belongs in the WA Hall of Fame. I'll save my lame whine until tomorrow, it's not amusing anymore.
