For a summer weekend we seem to be seriously low on whines. Come on, Whiners, let 'er rip.
Okay, so I have been somewhat whineless myself and I am working on a good wail.

Well...I'd like to whine that I've been unable to kick my new ice cream addiction. It's been months now, and I've tried weaning off it by going to fat-free (why bother?), sherbet (oh, please....), and last night yogurt! Pathetic! I've just called my husband to "request" that he stop & pick some up. This time I also requested the topping that turns into a shell. (S'mores if it's available.) *sigh* Next week I'll try again to get the monkey off my back. (Chunky Monkey?!)

LOL! Nah-I think your whine is entirely valid. Ice cream is only good when it's...well....ice cream!To hell with the substitutes-ew!

I found out tonight that it's not a good idea to barbecue when it's dark out.
I also have a headache from eating a box of Good n Plenty in the theatre this afternoon.
And I just adopted my sister's cat - that's 3 cats and 2 dogs.
My yard looks like a jungle - so many weeds. So little time.
I spilled raspberry salad dressing on my white shorts today.
I have to sleep on the couch while my nephew is here. The dogs like to sleep with me so it makes for cramped quarters.
My computer has a virus that won't go away. My sister's boyfriend came over tonight, looked at me confidently, and told me he had the solution. Has NEVER let him down. Went to the website, started the scan and POOF the computer shut down. This guy is a techno geek. If he can't fix it, I might as well outfit it with cement overshoes and drop it in the lake.
Whew - those are a lot of whines I've been saving up!

First off...whew! I almost had a panic attack when I found the old Whiner's thread locked up tight.
That said, I confess that I am "supposed" to be preparing a fabulous dinner for myself and a friend and I am definitely procrastinating! Just had to whine and visit fellow whiners first!
OK, here it goes (my three or four part whine) : I have a friend coming for dinner and I can't find my counter tops. I don't really feel like cooking and cleaning (no Homemaker SoosieQ today!). The best part? I have run out of most everything---including dish soap! Even tho' my new job pays daily, (and boy am I glad of that one), I have only worked three days. I keep spending the daily dough on past due bills, supplies for the house, plus food for me and the kitty. No dish soap, no food prep done, friend on the way....
Oh yeah, and my downstairs neighbors have recently acquired a ping pong table and are currently engaged in a game called "beer pong" (with supplemental vodka lemonade in hands). Sure am sorry to be missing out on that one-LOL

My internet connection comes and goes...spent 2 hours trying to make it work....I htink the little on off switch is f*cked up...son started flipping it back and forth frustrated and it started....he was about to throw the d*m thing....who says computers can't be intimidated!
