Hi all-
Staying sober today, like all days. I have a cold, or flu or something. Didn't sleep well and looked at myself in the mirror this morning and thought, I used to look worse than that after a night of drinking and I felt worse too. Glad those days are over.

Good idea DDog, I keep my own version of trail mix handy and always take some on the golf course with me.
Sam it's comfort eating, your brain is telling you you deserve to spoil yourself, in the past that would have involved alcohol. Focus on getting better and count it a win
OTM that bird looks like it has attitude! My Avi is my Miss Molly, she as been with me since before I started my road to sobriety and is 13 now. Each year she puts up a festive pic, (which she hates having taken
) wow that must be nearly 10 different photos now!

Started my new temp job this week. Still getting the hang of things. Its keeping me occupied, and bringing in at least some money. Even with the learning curve it is still way less stressful than my last employment which is a huge plus!

It's hugely important you can be happy in the work that you do with it taking up so many of your waking hours and having a real affect on your life outwith the job.

Day 108 I pretty much like my job. I've been here 26 years. Started out in the warehouse driving forklift. Moved into assembly repair and now am in quality. My job ranges from inspecting incoming parts to make sure they are in spec to inspecting complete machines before the ship to dealers.

Wow DDog, 26 years in the same company is unusual these days! You must feel like part of the furniture great going on getting those sober days too
