I'm okay, thanks Suze. I now think the hitting head on garage door and falling back on my butt(quite the sight I'm sure) actually was a good thing-it jolted me back to reality.

Ice cream, and an early bedtime. And a visit to the gratitude threads. Hopefully all of that helps.

Sam, be careful there. No concussion symptoms I hope?

Relaxing after a busy day, no urgers, time to cook some of that food I hauled in from the food barn discount mart that only carries big packages of damm near of everything. LOL.

Thanks folks. Much better mood this morning, although wow, I'm sore from the fall. My ankle is swollen and painful as is my wrist but at least my head seems okay. I may go have the ankle checked out in a bit--I'll see how it is in a few hours.

So glad I didn't drink, today is day 17.

Sam - glad your mood is improved and it sounds like by and large, you are doing ok after your fall. Good job not trying to numb the pain with booze

Lixie - good job on stacking those sober days! Keep it going!

Zen - thanks for the well wishes. Congrats to you! Seems like you are really working your plan

I am checking in on day 10 (double digits! Woot! Woot!). I’m in the office today and tomorrow which as I said yesterday, is a major trigger for me. Gonna avoid stopping at the gas stations and drive-thru beverages on the way home and get right into some meditation as soon as I walk in the door.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Thank you, Bass. I have an easy program to work. That helps alot.
🖒 Sam glad you are sort of ok after falling down.

Got to get ready to make an appointment with the general practitioner doctor. Nothing big, just routine stuff.
ODAAT 47. Be cool everybody

Sam - dang, glad you're ok.
Basset - congrats on double digits
Lixie - almost at a week, keep it up
Zen - my program is easy as well. It's just don't drink today. Well, maybe it's not easy some days, but it is simple. I like simple.

Upwards and onwards.

Holy ****. That was a rough one this evening. Cravings were intense and unrelenting. However, I played the tape, urge surfed, and am glad to report I will be going to bed sober tonight. AV has finally shut up and I feel so glad I didn’t cave. I know I’ll feel especially happy about staying sober tomorrow morning when I wake up not hungover.

Have a great night everyone. Hope you all are doing well.

Just a quick check in from me on Day 18.
I'm doing well, still no real cravings in awhile per se, outside of sneak attacks from the AV telling me to "drink in the future" or crazy stuff like that but I of course am taking nothing for granted.

The sun is finally shining here--so thankful for that!

Congrats Gibby on 31 and Basset on 11!!

Wow, so much for no craving-yesterday was rough. I almost caved and drank, I really thought I was going to, but I delayed, delayed and keep focusing on how awful I'd feel today-physically, emotionally and mentally. I do not want to go back to that awfulness.

So, I'm happy to say I didn't drink, I ate a ton of ice cream instead and here I am on Day 19.

I logged on here and though I didn't post, just reading helped tremendously.

Nice work Sam!! Cravings have been hitting me really hard as well. Delay, play the tape do whatever is necessary but do not cave!

Day 12 for me. As I stated above, the cravings have been real bad the last few days but I won’t cave. I have a good book to read, plenty of podcasts to listen to, and some movies/shows I plan to watch to distract from the cravings.

Gibby keep it going! 32 days is great. 33 days will be even better though
