Another day to challenge me to grow emotionally. Or something like that...LOL. Anywho got the usual multiple projects going on. Will work on my WRAP/Recovery Plan today and follow what routine I have set up so far.
Keep plugging away at the sober life everybody. We got this!
Gibby and Zen - glad you are both doing well! Keep up the good work!
Things are going well for me. Had a good sleep last night. Work has been stressful today but that is par for the course. Gonna do some meditation after work today and have a ton of errands to run tonight to keep me busy.
Hope everyone has a great day

Gibby, Sam, Basset, Valentine, Vcat, Dee, and Anna are in to win it. Who else is in it?
Got up nice and early 2:00 am PST and I have been sluggish since that super crazy get-up time. Oh well, no worries, I can take a nap any time today.

"...we could feel time, touch reality, and recognize spiritual values long lost to many of us."
Rebuilding our principles is a great exercise of self-worth. Honesty, trustworthiness, and humility all went into the scrap heap when I was active in my addiction disorder. My spirituality at the time was "being bitter" and "angry" at the world. The stuff of a black stinking soul for sure. Uck
Yeppers, Cleaning up my character helps me to be more of my "authentic" self. Next, it's get up and busy time around the place. Some outside time as the air temp is about 85F for the high. Then cool off to 65F by the weekend.

Zen - I’m jealous of your weather! It’s 39 degrees and rainy here.
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Nothing really new to report on my end. The AV has been rearing its ugly head the last few days. I’ve been doing my best to play the tape and fight off the urges. I know they will fade in time.
Hope you all have a great day!

Maybe it is time to add something new, dear BD. Something you like to do that you haven't done for a while? A project you want to get into, perhaps? And when the AV goes off, tell it to shut up and work on your whatever. That way, not only do you beat it, but you start to create something awesome. And THEN, you have the memory of that for the next time the little bugger pipes up.
Thanks for the suggestion Venus. I’m actually starting some guitar lessons soon (I played a little many, many years ago) and am going to pick it back up. I’m also finally able to start exercising again (was nursing an Achilles injury for several weeks). So I definitely have some activities I enjoy on the my list

Hey all, still fighting the good fight and staying sober. I will add another day on whatever day I am on now. Busy at work and we have a gig coming up in just over a week, so I've got to get some practice in from now until then. I haven't been playing much but I think my clearer head has kept my chops up just fine.
Work your plan folks, I know it will pay off!

Basset, music lessons, I think that is awesome. I like Speed Metal music. Is that what you are going to learn?...LOL, just kidding.
Sam, I'm from Michigan and no stranger to cold winter weather. The local mountains are having lows in the upper 20s. The House Of Dragons has been my interest so far. Like it a whole heap.
Gibby, good luck with the upcoming gig.
Valentine, I really dig horror movies. One of my favorite genres of filmmaking.
Hi Dee, Vcat, and Anna. See you on the forums. Have a blessed day all.
Hi all!
Zen - no speed metal for me…hahaha. I played in a pop/punk band in high school that was kind of Emo. I learned how to play power chords and that’s about it.
Sam - glad you’re doing well. House of Dragon’s most recent episode does not disappoint
I get to play chauffeur for the family tonight. Gonna sit outside in the freezing cold and watch soccer practices too. Also have some homework to do that my therapist assigned so I’ve got plenty to keep my busy. I’m hoping to sneak in the latest episode of Andor too.
Hope you all have a good evening. Catch you tomorrow.

Good evening everyone.
We have been spared winter snow so far. Looks like 60’s until Sunday. The awful wind hits tomorrow with gusts up to 45 mph. It just plain stinks.
Hung out with Gdaughter today and we went winter boot shopping. She is a pistol. We postponed the park until Saturday.
Any suggestions on horror movies and series would be appreciated Zen.
Sleep well!
