Just got into bed, sober and happy.

When I wake up tomorrow it will be two weeks sober. Day 14.

What a change from my usual Saturday nights, if I wasn't drunk by now, I would have sometimes have already passed out by 9pm, and I would probably be close to waking up, at around 2am with insomnia and in the midst of withdrawals. Staring at the ceiling and feeling horrendous.

End of Day 175 - Had a good day at Waikiki Beach. Kids had fun playing in the water. Bit tired since we had a long flight from Seattle.

Hi Everyone. Congrats Calm on 175 days. I’m glad to see you all posting. I’m still going strong and loving the sober life. I hit 168 days yesterday. Not every day is unicorns and roses but I’m learning how to deal with days like that without the bottle.

Well my brief flirtation with an ED has come to an end.

I was abusing pseudoephedrine for its appetite suppressant effects and the pharmacy rang my parents about it.

It was nice while it lasted.

I cannot imagine pharmacists allowing anyone to abuse this drug nowadays. Nor can I imagine why they would call your parents.
And I know you are smart: you could not pick a worse thing to take when you have the medical issues that you have.

Maybe talk to us, really talk to us and we can be there with you. We all care about you.
