GM from Seattle! As I continue to work with the recruiter to get an offer, I am interviewing for another Tech major on Monday.
Goal for today and tomorrow would be to prep for that (Behavioral, Technical and Leadership)! Busy weekend ahead!!

Thanks, RAL! Good to see you are on Day 6. Keep going.
Hi all-
Happy Sober Saturday! I'm feeling great, did have some weird twinges last night about drinking but quickly squashed them-I sure do not want to give up how good I feel for some stupid poison.
Very productive last couple of days, I think I've got the blood sugar thing fixed(just eat more-duh) and am back to working out. Just an amazing difference.
I do have a work event coming up that will involve lots of people drinking hard, but I am just envisioning myself enjoying the conference, the food and the new city, and waking up the next day refreshed without a hangover. I usually stress out about traveling and use alcohol as a crutch but not this time. I will be clear headed and capable of handling anything that comes my way.
Have a wonderful day all!

Oh I dunno. Suicidal thoughts. Felt like I might as well drink. Feel stupid now.
I'm listening to The Upward Spiral audiobook at the moment, about overcoming depression with neuroscience. Maybe that'll help. My lexapro was increased four weeks ago, it takes six weeks for the full effect. Maybe that'll help.
I'm just stressed about upcoming court dates. But they're from drinking so drinking definitely isn't the solution. I'll feel better when they're done and dusted.
I'm probably too depressed for rehab right at this second but I wish I could be locked up or something.

Remember there is a community of folks here who want to help you 24/7 FF.
I can't make you do anything but its in your best interests to let your family know about this, if they don't know already. Your Drs and therapists too.
Use the support you have FF.

This is just about me, but fear can derail me.
And I can understand that the idea of rehab, and past experiences with rehab might be making you nervous FF.
But life is about trying....we try, we may find that particular thing/place doesn't work, and then we try again.
As you are doing now. You are being courageous. Trying hard to take the right next steps, but it's scary. For sure.
As Dee just said, you have a community here who care and want to help you: let us help you get to rehab.
You never know.....your life could change into something that makes you happy.
