Starting Day 3. I'm still not feeling great and woke up with a huge sty in my eye, but I'd feel worse hungover. I can't promise any day but today. I will not drink today. I can do anything for one day.

RAL glad you had a good nights sleep, I did too. Good sleep helps everything feel so much better!

Calmself you are doing amazing at 109 days! When I have been that far before it seems like I would get hit by AV for a day or two and then it would thankfully quit for a few days. I can't wait to follow your footsteps and be 100+ days. ODAAT!

Hi to everyone else I am missing!

I slept well, but had a drinking dream... I don't remember the specifics but boy was I glad to wake up!
My boys where up and out of the house 45 minutes early as oldest had a prom committee thing to go to. It was nice to be up and in a good mood with them while the sun was rising.
Looking forward to the day. ❤

This always happens to me I am out of my mind in these early days. I keep losing stuff, I don't know how to do my job, I'm second guessing everything, and I feel like I have no time for anything. Sober but completely overwhelmed.

Not sure why this keeps happening. Anyone else have issues like this?

Five, those issues sound very normal for early recovery. It's a hard time for body, mind and spirit to begin healing and I remember feeling very overwhelmed myself. Focus on getting through this and you will likely feel better each day. Congrats on Day 3!

Good morning. It's day 4. Going to do w1d2 of c25k later, head to church and I also have an appt with my GP to get referred to rehab. Started reading the AA book yesterday so I'll continue that today. Will also meditate. Life is good.

I over ate today, so I feel bloated and gross. I haven't drank though, and I won't drink today. What will tomorrow bring? I don't know. I just know that for tonight, I'm not drinking. The sun is setting on Day 3.

End of Day 110. Took a day off today to just relax a bit. No AV or triggers. Congrats to all folks who stayed sober today.

Citrus - I hate those drinking dreams. I still get them every few nights. I’m always so grateful to wake up!

Working from home today for me. My daughter is home from Uni so I can have lots of catching up time with her in between my work meetings.

Day 5. Friday. Usually danger time but i dont feel that today. Going to a smart meeting at 8 then painting the decking .
