Hiya Julyer Buddies

Aw PJ, hope you soon make friends with your new laptop.

We’ve moved to tier two restrictions as covid is getting worse round this county. It means we won’t be able to go inside in-laws house when we visit. So it’s big brollys or crisp dry autumn days so we can sit outside. My mum in law has dementia so has to be constantly reminded of the rules to keep safe.

I feel guilty because I haven’t been to visit my step mum’s because she has people in her support bubble who are more local. I send food parcel treats and picture cards.

It’s a crazy world we live in at the moment. But as my friend always says ‘it will come to pass’.

Be well my friends. Keep safe. xxxx

Hi gang.
Just got put on 32 hrs. at work for a while. Hopefully not long.
Up until now we haven't slowed down a bit even with the pandemic.
There's plenty of work in my field, so even though I have some worries, it should be ok.
God bless you all.
Take care.

Hiya Julyer Buddies

Snoozy, good to see you posting love.

I hope everyone is keeping well. We’re on lockdown until 2nd December, hopefully it will do some good. After the last lockdown it seemed to me that some thought everything was back to normal, which has now caused this lockdown. Hopefully we may have learned by it, or not.

Take care and be safe. xxxx

Hi gang.
I have been using my 3 day weekends to cut some fire wood.
It's nice to get outside and spend time with my parents. A very large maple tree had fallen down near a swamp at my fathers. It wont go to waste. All the leaves have come down off the trees. Moved a metric ton of leaves this past weekend as well.

Hi Bob. Well done you. s

I was just looking at the ton of leaves that have carpeted the front steps and all surrounds outside my house and thinking no way, I am not doing that.

just posting to remind Aussies that Addicted Australia is on SBS at 8.30 tonight. I’ve been keen for this debut for a while.

I don't Even know where to start. I found out that my son has been raping my little sister since she was 6 years old until 11 . I just want to die. This happened in my own home for 5 years , I always thought I was such a vigilant mother.

My sister has been in therapy for years . I found out all the sordid details today,
if this isn't the right place to vent , just delete . I'm bereft ...this was on my watch and I had NO idea . I haven't slept for 4 nights . How do you deal with your own son doing this to your baby sister . I feel hate and utter contempt towards him .

She was 6 years old and he was 10. It went on for 5 years. . I was actually physically sick . I don't know what's going to come of this. My psyche says she is a mandated reporter and this needs to go further to protect his own daughter.

I feel like my life is imploding . I HATE my son and cannot get past this. My psych says he was groomed by someone in the family . His uncle sent to jail for raping his 4 year old granddaughter.
how in God's name do I get past this . I used to let her sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag. In his room
it was like leadng a lamb to the slaughter . This is. Truly killing me andI just don't know what to do.

can I please get advice from you guys who know me so well. I will listen to every single comment .
Thanks so much Xxxx

I just need to numb myself ..I can't even think about how my baby sister endured this, but I know it was with threats ..

I’m really sorry you and your sister & your family at large have to be dealing with this Wendy.
It’s such a brutal shocking thing to deal with - I’m not surprised you’re bereft and feeling all the things you are.

I understand blaming yourself - but predators hide that’s what they do, even young predators.
Who’d be looking for something like that in a 10 year old?

I don‘t know how you get past this but I know you will - not today, but you will. You’re still the same Wendy, and you still have the same support here. You are not alone

Numbing yourself will not help Wendy. The numbness will wear off and the horror will still be there.
Don’t add drinking to this. It will for sure pull you under and you might not surface again.

I know you love your family to bits - and they need you now as much as you need them Wendy - don’t drink.
Resist the numb.

Massive amounts of prayers to you and his other victims
