Hi gang,

Just got back from vacation. What, during a pandemic? lol
Well, we went camping at Salisbury beach. Every other site was blocked off and mask were required where social distancing was impractical. We have a very low new infection rate in the North East.
One thing people in the other parts of the world need to understand. Places that weren't effected earlier are now getting the wave moving through. Mostly areas of our country that didn't peak yet, area that have no major international airports.
So although they have high rates of infection the mortality and even hospitalizations are down.
I know, both my sister and niece work the Covid floor at a local hospital ICU.
Anyways, Toby swam for the first time yesterday,he had a ball doing that retriever thing.lol
Thursday was my birthday and we had a lovely time at the beach. The place was mobbed and not very many wearing mask, but we all set up at least 10 ft. from each other. Back to work tomorrow. I need a vaca after my vaca.:24:

Morning Julyer Buddies

Good to see you Croutie. When my brother passed we kept his chair in the same place and no one sat on it, almost expecting him to walk through the door. Eventually we did sit on his chair, but I do think my mum moved the furniture around. He was still with us for a long time, but for me it came as special memories.

Bob, Happy Birthday for last Thursday. I’m glad you got to have an holiday. Sounds like you’re sensible and aware. I can imagine Toby loving the sea. What joy. :) I hope work isn’t too wearing on your first day back.

CW, glad you’re getting back to your home and hopefully, peace and serenity.

Ive had a few trips out. For drives through the countryside and away from the madding crowds. Went to visit my step mum who was 94 last Friday. I wore a visor(face shield) for myself and her, to be safe. I’m ok going to a remote area with no one about but do get angsty at the thought of other people around. I’m sure I’ll learn to adjust and wear ppe accordingly.

Love to all. Be safe. xx

Morning Julyer Buddies

Thanks for the congratulations, very much appreciated. :tyou

It’s good to get past the cravings for alcohol we had and get on with our lives. Though life is difficult sometimes, we hopefully get through all the bumps and bends in the road. Sometimes leading the way and sometimes happy to take support on our journey.

Take care xxxx
