Sounds good on paper, but in fact it’s so much more complicated than that. Declarations bring along the need for explanations.....and sometimes it’s just such a hurtful subject matter that it takes a long time to recover from the information given.
At this point please try and be a selfish little Wendy and spend all of your time on yourself. You’ve shared the hidden truth with your daughter and now you have to let her absorb and deal with the information in her own way.
Now it’s time to move onto the “Wendy” project. Give yourself the attention and love and I think the results will be amazing. You’ve unburdened your heart and now you can start to heal it.
The best thing you can do for any of your relationships is heal yourself. Do the necessary work to get yourself in a better place.
You’re such a special, loving person and a safe, fulfilling and happy life awaits you.....but you’ve got to do a little work for it...
You can do it of that I’m sure.
Sending you love and support Sweetie.

Thanks so ,so much , I get it Croutie

No no, not annoyed. Sad for you. That you aren’t valuing yourself enough. That’s the tragedy, Wendy. I’ve said it all along. You give so much love and care to others, but struggle to do it for yourself.

You have to protect you from the AV. That’s your one job, really - the rest works itself out from there.

Hello Julyer Buddies

I hope everyone is feeling ok?

Christmas is a bit different, covid-style, over here. The good news is the vaccine is being rolled out. It’s looking good for the near future that this will be a virus able to be controlled.

Love to all. Take care and be safe xxxx

It’s ok thanks Dee, we don’t often get extreme weather and if we do we talk about it for ages after.
I agree it’s looking brighter for 2021.

Hi gang.
We got about 10 inches of snow last night. Blowing and drifting today.
Spent most of the day snow blowing and shoveling. Now relaxing by the fire.
Hope everybody is having a nice day/night.

I have been absent of late. Usual stuff- pain, brain, insane....also end of year and finishing art assignments, practical and papers...this has been a real kicker - but I got my final results today and received a credit for both the history and the drawing subjects.

Given the last 2 drawing subjects I scraped through the first, and a solid pass for number 2- a credit shows more improvement. My brain is still physically healing from the burns trauma, the booze, the 23 surgical procedures and the huge amount of life saving drugs and anaesthetics I had. The slowly improving grades show my brain is still healing. This was ahlf the reason I pursued this visual arts Bachelor- to brain train. Also a concrete way of showing myself comittment to my recovery.

So I am satisfied, but am determined to do more of the same work in the break, so as not to lose momentum.

My prayers and support to all.
Forgive this post going in other threads- if you read around.

Bob, I can just imagine Toby playing in the snow as you’re shoveling it away.

PJ, congratulations on your art exams. You push through and get it done.

Have a good weekend Julyer buddies, keep safe.

Love to all xxxx

Hey PJ. Thanks for the update! It’s mot repetitive to me cos I rarely read around the site these days. I applaud you for pushing through on getting this study completed. Just pushing through on the mental drain itself can be enough on getting a qualification.

I’ve started getting heavily back into art too, and will wait for the post Christmas sales to get a new camera. I told myself all sorts of reasons why buying art materials was indulgent, but then asked myself exactly when would be the right time? I don’t know why I deny myself pleasures. Maybe it goes back to the alcoholism thing. I’ve always struggled with perfectionism, and making the next right choice.

Love to all. Seems staying in Melbourne for Xmas was the right choice for me. Love to all.

Mags, don't have to imagine. Here's my big boy playing with a branch he ripped off a tree. All his stick collection is buried under the snow.

That's how God made him.
He got a nice bath this morning before the holidays.
I'll be picking my daughter up tonight. She's flying in from Florida.
She's in for a big surprise with all the snow and cold here.
