Got some exercise this morning so I'm gonna chill the rest of the day too

Yesterday was fun watching Puppy Bowl....I didn't make it to the sale, but my mom said everything went fast early in the morning & they made over $2,000 for the association....then she said "It was all junk!"

Happy Freaking Birthday, Suze!

P.S. If you are in charge of the matrix, I want a faster metabolism.

Have a great day, March people!

Happy Birthday Venus

I could use a little faster metabolism myself

So I had to head out last night for a bit - "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" did not come on, but interestingly a live, acoustic version of Benny and the Jets did. Hmmmm. Maybe just a slight glitch in the Matrix programming?

A decent start to the day here, although I didn't sleep very well. I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned it here, but I've had a few bouts of sleep paralysis over the years - it's kind of scary. Sometimes I worry that it's going to happen and those thoughts keep me awake. It's rare when it happens, and rare that I worry about it - but I guess just one of those nights.

Be good ...

Thank you so much love ❤️

I don't know what that is....sleep paralysis.....looking it up.....oh gosh.....that is scary big time. s
Did you ever talk to a doc about it? xxx

And yes, I see what happened there....Elton John tried to perform at the Oscars and could not. We he ostensibly did, but he just can't sing anymore and it is sad. So perhaps the song I picked was just a bit too close to home for him.

Hey Venus. I had not heard that about Elton John and the Oscars. That's too bad. I finally got around to watching Rocket Man a few weeks ago - I though it was great.

I've never discussed the sleep paralysis with my doctor, but if I continue to have problems I certainly will. It is very rare that it actually happens - really only once every few years it seems. I first experienced it when I was 20 or so, and in the last 40-ish years maybe it's happened 10 times - something like that. It is scary though.

Thanks for the hugs, they are always welcomed

I would want to know what causes it....maybe it's something as simple as a lack of magnesium.....wouldn't that be good. s xx

Hey, BBG.

MITA - the only times I have had sleep paralysis was when I had just had a baby, and once when I was sick and was prescribed cough medicine with codine. It's really scary.

Sure is. Many of us had it around here when we were young (i.e familiar with it).

The scientific explanation is that it's your mind waking up before your body.

'but you know the type of things that they say' (???)

It happened me, many times. What's that other dream about when you are falling also?

I dunno. Hi guys... So I have moved, twice since last talking to ye!!

Anyway, I have a feeling that some 'stuff' is going to be coming up for me by way of the subconscious... Nightmares, or memories more specifically. It has already started.

What to do with it is the question? Write up here? On a notepad? I sent my other (crappy old p.o.s) laptop to another location, which would probably have been good for that.

The problem for me writing online- as much as I enjoy it sometimes- is that it leaves me open to 'psychic attack' and such. Same goes for social networking, etc

Weather is bad here, it's a cold night out. Wind & rain etc.

Hope all are well

Haha. Yeah Venus, I'll try and remember and chat with my doctor the next time I'm there. It really happens so infrequently that it's usually not on my mind when I have an appointment. It crosses my mind in a way that keeps me up at night even less often. Last night was really an aberration in that regard.

Hi Bobbie and BBG!!

BBG, have you tried to quit smoking? Been thinking of you lately.

Have you tried the vaping? It has worked for me. Former daily smoker here.

The cheapest ones arent great but a mid-range beginner kit works well. More puff power.

Mother got one for xmas, and she has been off the cigs after smoking all her life.

It's a good tool, worth a look amigo

I watched the oscars last night but didn’t pay too much attention to the Elton song. Not sure why, because I do normally love his performances. I did really like Eminem though!

Happy Birthday Suze!!!!

Loved the Change song.

MITA I don’t know what sleep paralysis feels like but it doesn’t sound good.

Having some medical struggles here. Bone scan tomorrow as my back hurts again, so they are sounding the cancer alarm again and time for the fire drill. I don’t have the energy to get upset this time. Just a part of my new life....scans. Last Friday I had a colonoscopy (sorry tmi) but they found something scary and now I’m waiting a week for biopsy results. God wouldn’t do that to me too, right?

BBG, Purp, PJ, SG, Bobbie, caramel....
