(((Lillian)))

It’s awesome that you got a “woohoo” from Dee. It seems out of character. 😊

I’ll second that though. WOOHOO !!!

A most productive day. My old laptop just stopped working- will not even turn on. So went out and bought a cheapie Notebook, then did all the passwords, info stuff without too much angst. Also gym work and my homegroup meeting. Something seems to haver changed in my fried little brain- maybe a little 'que sera'.

Yes indeed and I feel honored to get a WOO HOO! from Dee. Thank you all! Happiness and relief still has me smiling.

My mother complained about her back for a year and her doctor never ran a test but told her she was fine. Finally the pain was so bad she went to the ER and that’s when we learned she had kidney cancer that had spread to her spine. She died 3 months later.

So....back aches scare me. But not today.

It’s green tea time and laundry time. Oh, and I dug up my old Zelda retro game and am thinking of Casey. I’ll play this afternoon and hopefully the spirit of Zelda will bring Casey back here.

Thank you again for your support and woo hoo!

Oh I wish.....I gave myself a massive housework laundry and plant care day.

But I started my day with a massive cuddle from Penny the (giant red) poodle next door who knocked me down and pinned me with a huge hug......awesomeness. s ❤️

I confess I had to lookup what a red poodle looked like. Didn’t know poodles could be ginger! Sounds like a good way to start the day.

It’s a beuuuuutiful day here in San Diego. Sunny and should hit 70F. I should get out and walk but I’m still glued to Zelda. Ha!

I will check out Rescue Dog show. Last week I watched Westminster dog show....and a big poodle won that come to think of it.

Still feeling Woo Hoo and hope everyone has a WOO HOO day!

So glad you want to check it out! I like the Rescue Dog Show much more.....IMO it's more fun with categories like Best Couch Potato, Best in Belly Rubs, Best Wiggle Butt, Best Underbite, to name a few....so so funny. It's on for two nights: tonight and tomorrow night (Hallmark Channel).

Beef the Bulldog won "Best in Snoring" last year and is back this year for "Best in Wrinkles" ~ You'll know it's him 'cause the crowd chants his name "Beef! Beef! Beef!"

Here is Mo the Screaming Staffy, who competed last year in "Best in Talking" ~ He was another favorite, but he didn't win....so he returns this year and we're all pulling for him to go all the way....he has over 100K followers on IG

Well I was able to give my friend cash for my ticket, and she ordered them so we can go together....sent me the confirmation with a message: "We're going to Gn'R biotch!" They'll be here in August...still can't believe it....I've seen them twice before, but as you may know, they've been an all-time fave of mine.....plus this will be her first time seeing them....we'll be up in the third level but I don't care!

I’m guessing computer issues for PJ. But regardless, hope you’re ok PJ!

That red poodle is delightful as all get out.

I’m excited that you’re excited about Guns n Roses Purp!

It’s another pretty day here. Time to finish laundry and get my car washed! Holiday here today so no workee.

My dad just gave me a set of drinking glasses from my grandfathers estate. It has a big R engraved on each glass for my family’s name. Wine glasses, highball glasses, brandy glasses, etc. WT heck am I going to do with these? Can’t hurt anyone’s feelings but no one here drinks anymore. Could box them up and put them in the attic. R is for refuse maybe.....why didn’t I just say no? Sigh.

I’m coming up on 18 months sober and husband is at 16 months. We were just talking about how much better we feel and look. Looking at old pictures and we both looked so puffy and unhealthy! Easy to see now.

Wow, Lillian. 18 months is amazing. I'm so happy for your family. I get it too. Our life is so different now, and I can't think of anything that would make me want to go back to the way we were. Just put the glasses in a box and save them. Still feeling all woohoo here for you, so, just for the record, WOOHOO!

PHX - check in when you get a chance. All your "moms" here worry you know.

Purps - Gn'R will be so awesome. I'm excited for you.

OMG, Suze. Your neighbor's dog and baby. That picture melts my heart. Too freaking cute.

Hey, Caramel!

MITA, BBG, SpaceGoat and Dee - hi! 13th if you're out there, say hey!

Have a great day, guys!

Hi Marchees. My old lap top (my bro's, daughter's old school laptop- that was then 'violated', by a well meaning guy in the boarding house that was away with the fairies and I was too sick to care- he screwed all the software)- finally died. Will not even turn on. And the router suicided as well. So I bit the bullet and bought a cheapie notebook. It is wonderful.

Dealing much better with art with rules related anxiety- just doing what instinctively seems right with mixing oils- sometimes 4 differing oils to make one specific skin tone, for example. I cannot explain how- but apparently I am quite good at it. My project is a portrait of my old recovery counsellor.

I have struggled with soreness, pain and fatigue (burns related- plus stuff) and am pushing through to my own satisfaction. I have had a few issues with friends and my bro contacting me with a judgmental, holier-than-thou tone to the contact- and I have consciously decided (as usual) - to just wait and allow time to heal/grow....damaged people do damaged things and the friendship- the family connection is, to me- more important than getting all anger ridden over what they do. So long as these peoples do not purposely hurt others- and try to change- they have me on board. Tiring though.

Hoping all is well on the Homefront B.

So very happy for you lill.
