Thanks Delilah. The anxiety is horrendous and the crazy thing is that drinking just makes it so much worse. I'm just stuck in this cycle but I can break it. I thought I didn't care and that this was over but I've ended up being on here on and off all day. The part of me that wants a sober life is winning, it keeps coming back and always want to try again.

I had a few difficult moments when everyone but me was having wine - kept hoping that I wouldn't resort to stopping to buy wine on the way home but after watching the host drink 7 glasses of wine (yes I did count!), my impulse to drink disappeared. So hooray! I am home safe and sober.
