Day 38. Not prime but double a prime.

Work in a bit. Still trying to wake up here so keeping this short. Wishing everyone a safe and sober Sunday.

Wake up! Time for church. Or work. Same thing.

I'm up! Good Morning!!

Good to see you, Thirteenth!

Phoenix, hugs. Will send more when I get my laptop on. Just know, you are loved very much.

Have a day with no schedule. My favorite kind.

Have a great day, friends!

I ate more fast food today ~ evidently the 18 million calories from yesterday wasn't enough!

Work went well.....as far as I know.....I get to go in Tuesday morning for the holiday so hopefully there won't be too many bitchy emails. Off tomorrow! This is weird. Gonna stay close to SR, maybe take a nap.......

I saw this quote on Twitter from Badass Motivation & thought I'd share it:

Checking in on my way home. Work was fine. Nothing crazy...which i can live with.

This diet has me feeling like a complete bag of crap. I'm not hungry but I'm tired and I'm cranky....blah. Supposedly it gets better around day 4-5...fingers crossed.

Bobbie - enjoy your schedule free day!

Purplrks - love the quote...and grateful it's true.

Casey - hope your shift went okay. And day 38 is grrrrreat!! (imagine Tony the Tiger saying that...it's better)

Okay it seems pretty quiet in here - even for a Sunday. How's everyone doing??

Sam, day 5 of the Whole 30 is when I turned into a complete jerk at work and made myself take a week off. Take that for what it's worth. I decided to quit the diet after that as it was threatening my sobriety and sanity. But that's just me, I know plenty of other folks here have done the diet successfully.

Good enough shift at work. We weren't busy. No one with any other place to go stays in my city on July 4 as there is no water or trees here. Home now. Eating a blackened turkey sandwich. Might run to a 5:30 AA meeting. Might not.

Hey there!! Just checking in. Played some golf, now watching some golf.

The Whole 30 is very tough. I think a manageable approach might be to just do low carb for a few weeks, maybe something Atkins-ish or Zone-ish and then go to the more restrictive Whole30. Both Dallas and Melissa Hartwig had pretty good eating habits prior to developing their Whole 30 program. IMHO.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday

DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW YOU ARE USING THE COMPUTER, YOUNG LADY? IS IT SOME SORT OF A PORNOGRAHY MACHINE? (WITH APOLS TO EVERB'Y L/R).

Got in an hours rest- feel much better. Showered, b-fasted (toast and pate), folded the clotheses, mopped floors...
Counselling first, then banking and more 'making home' shopping (sigh), a lunchtime meeting...then cooking and the art-g. Testing a new thought out...

Nobody understands quite why we're here
We're searching for answers that never appear
Maybe if I look real hard I'd,
I'd see you trying too
To understand this life that we're all going through

I am going to try to stay up since I don't have to set my alarm, but this old lady is already having tea and wanting to go to sleep!

Hello Not-So-Motor Mouths. Just finished watching a kinda interesting movie from the early 2000s called Bubble. About some people who work in a doll factory in Ohio. Very atmospheric. Made by a real director with all amateur actors. Not the best thing I've ever seen but it certainly wasn't bad in a low-key kinda way.

AV was grumbling a little bit so I'm posting. I ain't drinking so it might as well shut up.

Goodnight Sam. Goodnight just in case, Purps. Good luck with your sleep, AppleK. Good afternoon, Phoenix.

Hi guys. Some nasty bug has taken my house OUT! Attacked us all at the same time. I have 5 people and only 3 toilets. 😳 I'll catch up with you all later.

PR sounds just like my house a few weeks ago! It was most likely norovirus. Awful!! Good luck!

Casey glad you aren't drinking, it's dumb!

Good night friends!
