So I have this other computer with stuff like Illustrator, etc. installed on it, but never sat down long enough to get any real practice. I turned it on and thought I'd get creative.
I pulled up some tutorials to watch, thinking it would be motivating!

Yep, BBG, I check in to the 24 hour thread while my first startin' fluid is brewing. And then I start checking in here but I'm so long-winded here that usually the coffee is done first before I can hit the post button. Anyways, glad you're OK and checked in.
At least you took the first step toward being creative, Purps. I've set myself a little creativity daily/monthly goal for July, so that starts tomorrow. We shall see.
How's everyone else doing? I'm starting to get ready for work. Kept trying to talk myself into trading tonight's shift for one tomorrow night, to delay the inevitable, but I know that tomorrow I'll be grateful to have the day off.

Yeah I'm going in to work tomorrow & Sunday....regular job is closed Mon/Tues but I'll be working the weekend job on Tuesday...so at least I'll get one more day off out of it (plus holiday pay for working the fourth, and an extra day with the "kids" 
)

Hello! Just reading books to the youngest kid! Doing ok tonight!
Big kids are watching half of Pirates of the Caribbean with Daddy. Then bed. Then MAYBE we will watch a grownup movie. I rented Fences. However, I'm exhausted! Lol.

Checking in before bed. Fireworks have been going off for the last hour (it's still light out - what's the point? Lol) and the birthday pup is hiding under the table. Poor thing. Lots of people outside on my street...visiting one another and drinking. I'm grateful to not be one of them. Looking forward to a sober sleep and a hangover free morning.
AK - Fences is a great movie!
BBG - I don't know what Hardee's is but it sounds yummy!
Purplrks - your schedule is very confusing. Lol. But as long as you have it straight that's all that matters.

MMMMMMMMMM, Hardees!!! They have the best burgers! LUCKY!!!
There's only one Hardees that I know of around here....it's even further north from my job tomorrow & it would take an hour to get home. I still might get one, though.....

Too quiet in here all day long. Hope everyone is ok.
After midnight here. Just got off work. Solid shift. Writing this on my phone in the Wendy's drive thru. I'm starving. I have never eaten at Hardee's. There are a few in the biggest cities in Texas but none in my neck of the woods.
I didn't drink today. That's a win. Sweet dreams, Motor Mouths! Though none of you except maybe me and Purple deserved that nickname today.

I'm becoming one of those old people, aren't I - up at 4am and asleep by 9......still better than the alternative.
Guess I should get ready for work! See y'all in a little while......we shall have a fabulous weekend!

Morning!! Happy 150th birthday Canada!!
Will be a pretty quiet day here as everything (literally everything) is closed. Not complaining though. Sometimes a forced do-absolutely-nothing day is just what the doctor ordered. DH and I might visit a park nearby that is having some festivities but that will depend on the weather, which is currently pretty grey and dreary.
