Morning class. Went to bed way early and slept way late. Felt good.

Work tonight. Noon AA meeting with some junk shopping beforehand, I think.

Not gonna take that first drink today no matter what other ideas might pop into my head.

Home from work but I'm in the mood for some chocolate milk.....do I really want to go back out there?

Gotta work this weekend so it'll be an early evening. It's cool, tho. Very fulfilling and it pays for my drum lessons! (Minus the people-y part of it.)

Next day off is Friday for a doctor appointment. That sounds really sad!

I need to stick close by.....even though the AV has been pretty quiet, it's almost like when kids are unusually quiet....normally that means they're up to something.....

Checking in on my way home from the dentist. Sat in the chair for 20 minutes tops...no freezing...$275!! Huh!?! Man thank god for insurance.

Feeling better today...not surprising the farther I get away from that last drink. Did have my AV pipe in a few times this afternoon but I managed to shut it down. Pretty easy to remind myself of the consequences right now.

Casey - I hope you make a ton of money at work...maybe have one of those people who tip like $500 on a $20 chit like you read about in the paper

Bobbie - have fun playing old...I mean old people cards....lol

Purplrks - i work tomorrow too....blah. Maybe we could start our own movement "the day the weekend workers stayed home" - what would happen to the world?!? Lol

BBG - you could hug an endangered species today! Is a plumber an endangered species?

PJ - how's it going in topsy turvy land? I think the fact that you see your emotional pain as a reason to keep moving forward and keep trying is amazing (just like you) too often we let "stuff" stunt us or bury us in quicksand. ❤️❤️

LB - thinking of you as you prepare for your trip. Think about how proud you will be walking back into your house after it's all over and knowing that you stayed present and sober....and you'll remember everything!!

Well I'm off. Happy Friday! Love you all!

Hi to y'all. Slep 4.5 hours - so there is a touch of humanananess here.
Ha! My new smarty phone- rang for it's very first time- have not worked out how to answer the bloody thing. I am going to save a lot on making calls.

No $20 checks where I work, Sam, but people were pretty generous tonight. Good night considering how slow we were for a Friday night.

Gonna play some Zelda and get some sleep. Off tomorrow!

Casey I saw a Zelda meme today on Facebook. Some dragon guy who can go back in time. I had no idea what I was reading but immediately thought of you.

I had a nice day. I had a mommy daughter date with my baby girl. We had lunch, roamed around Barnes and noble for a few hours, shared a cupcake at the Starbucks in B&N and bought everyone in the house a book. I got another Kay Scarpetta book for $6 yay!!! Now hubby and I are watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith, I love that movie. Tomorrow IKEA!!!! 😁

Morning! Happy Saturday! First cuppa startin' fluid consumed and on my way to work. It's church youth groups this weekend....sounds easy but they are probably one of the most difficult. Weird. I know.

I am off tomorrow and Monday though - woot! One of my very best friends is having her baby shower tomorrow afternoon...although it won't be traditional....theme is BBQ, Beer and Bassinets....how is that the new thing?? And then Monday it's dinner and Canasta (that's right Bobbie) with DH's parents....better brush up on my card skills tonight.

Casey - glad you had a good night

PR - enjoy IKEA!!

Bobbie - I didn't do five nice things yesterday. I mean I wasn't mean to people but I didn't make the conscious effort. Will try again today.

PJ - I wish I didn't know how to answer my phone. My advise? Don't learn. It's a trap.

Well I better get moving. Have a super, sober Saturday.

Hi to all..meeting today (MEN ONLY) interesting. 'Acceptance'. For my part I shared that even tho the past remains there- recalling memories now with pain means there is work still to be done. Even tho my story is in the top 5% for accidental dramatic damage- I have noticed younger guys/gals 'specially with dual addictions have a more pathological, serious path of destruction- planned overdoses, thinking of harming their children to remove their own pain, violence to others. Sigh
I AM grateful not to be living in a communal place with such people. I am not a saint- I just want to remain sober, get my little space and hope the world forgets about me.
On a lighter note- an old guy there- no hair to speak of- EXCEPT his eyes brows were h-u-g-e. Could not actually see his eyes. He had to look under them- like people do with glasses. I thought- 'a life support system for eye brows'.

Good morning, Marchers!

Off work today. Plan is laundry, family time, AA, Zelda. Not necessarily in that order.

Is it too early to take a nap?

Have a safe and sober day everyone!

Have a great day, everyone!

Sophia's bday party and a long run are on the horizon for me.

Phx- you gotta get a picture of the eyebrows guy. That's awesome.

Have a super Saturday, folks! Off for my run.
