One Year & Over Part 50
Just got back after a fun weekend.
The radio show had a few minor technical problems at the start, but we got them figured out and had a fun time. The host will post it on his archives starting tomorrow. I'll PM a link to anybody interested.
Had a great time celebrating Mom's 80th b-day! She really enjoyed having all three of her boys there and being the center of attention. My one brother is still having some issues, but hopefully we were able to give him some support.
Back into the working groove tomorrow. Will try to get caught up on everybody's posts.
Have a Super Sunday, overs!

Am I the only one getting peeved with this new 'mobile chat' symbols that lurks in the bottom right corner? I keep accidently catching it with my thumb. There isn't a cross to close the box.

Good morning Overs.
Mrs T insisted on walking to the hospital this morning and as we stepped out of the door said, "Let's go kill some cancer."
I waited with her until the drugs were flowing and then left her with her nose in a book.
I've given the house a clean and I'll prepare dinner before I fetch her in the car.
FBL great to hear you had a good visit with your Mom.

Andy, Mrs T has a great attitude that will help her beat this thing!
FBL, happy to hear you had a good time with your mom for her 80th. I'd be delighted to adopt you if you would come celebrate my 80th with me - in less than 8 years! . Ps would you PM me that link?
After some glorious days of sunshine and temps in the 50s, 60s and even 70s, we are back to rain today. That's the cycle of almost everything, I think.
Have a good Monday to all!

Hi, all...
Andy, your wife is such a force of nature...good for her.
As for those on fruity tablets who want to get rid of the chat thingie, you have to click on the damned thing, go to the wrench icon up in the right hand corner (settings), then toggle the chat window thingie to "off". It will then disappear when you refresh the page...but it'll be back the next time you log on. Good times.
Not much to report here. Still in limbo, waiting for stuff to happen, construction-wise. The ground guy gets back from vacation this week and we have another inspection from the country today, so we're hoping the logjam will finally budge.
In the meantime, it's now summer here and as it turns out, 80 degrees in an un- air conditioned apartment is still uncomfortably warm. Who knew. I got my haircut yesterday and these days, this is Big News.
Someone here has that great tagline about when one door closes, another opens...but it's hell in the hallway. We're just in the hallway, that's all.
Love and sober hugs to you all...
Aries

OK, Nick just looked...oh my God.....how freaking horrendous. Just sends shivers through my body. What on earth....
The chat arrow isn't bothering me in the slightest, but I loved your way of dealing with it Aries. You made me smile lovely one.
Andy ~ please give all of my love to the extremely wonderful Mrs Treerat.
