Going OK TS....busy & feeling it tonight! Had a good day....yesterday was my Bday & today would have been my Dads 82nd Birthday. I was off work a little early today & drove down river to where my Dads Memorial Hill used to be. That part of the family are selling their Dads property where Dads memorial was. Anyway I went & dug up a couple of plants & brought one home for Moms yard & one for mine. Stopped along the way a couple of times & put my feet in the sand & hounded for rocks. Life is good

Thank you All another glorious day here yesterday! I went out in the evening & worked a bed in front for planting. Not sure what I'm going to plant there but will make a trip to the nursery after work today. Made a trip to the casino for work yesterday & won $150 at bingo.......I'm going to buy a fishing license & tags for myself & learn to fish again & am going to get some road trip/camp gear ready so that I can grab my pole, the medal detector & go explore!

Tops, that runner bean frame is fantastic, I've not seen that idea before, definitely worth a try next year. Thank you for posting that website - it's very useful. What do you call runner beans over there? (or perhaps they're not as popular in the US). We take the runner bean very seriously over here - many a reputation has been made and destroyed over the humble runner bean.
Mariah, well done on your win, congratulations! What a great way to spend the money, I predict many happy days ahead...filled with fishing and finding hoards of buried treasure.

Good to hear your family is moving home Mariah !
I think they're called green beans in the store, ...but have heard them also called "string beans " many years ago.
My one attempt to grow them ten years ago was a disaster when the deer nibbled all the young plants to the dirt one night .
Changed the oil in the truck and replaced the spark plug on the bike today before getting back on the "gravel moving " project .
I had about 6 paid vacation days left ( according to my paycheck stubs ) ,...but when I enquired about taking a couple in 2 weeks , they said I don't have any left ,...but could take *unpaid* days off .
Decided to just work straight through ,....to not put my medical insurance coverage in any kind of jeopardy ,.....the way management operates around that place.

That's disappointing about the vacation days TS. Company's really squeeze you for all your worth & more anymore. Hope you don't push yourself too much TS.

I'm in too.
Just back from my run. It's a great way to clear my head. There are more problems at work - another of my colleagues has resigned, and I don't blame her at all. The job was making her ill. But it'll take months to fill her post.
Tops, that sounds like a slippery manoeuvre on your bosses part, to disregard the leave you are entitled to. That doesn't sit well at all.
I have some proofreading to do this morning, then some tidying, then hopefully a bit in the garden later.
Obo, are you going to the meditation group regularly? Or was that a "one off"?
