Perfect time for me to butt in! (geddit?) So much to catch up on in this thread here, as per usual.
Some posts that I wanted to reply to from this morning even and now here its the witching hour.
Hopefully there is nothing too eventful and I'l get round to them tomorrow. As for this evening?
Don't know what to say. Fabela I would like to speak with you sometime you are sober perhaps.
Well done to everyone who managed to stay sober, and therefore helped me stay sober. Peace

Looks like I missed something (???) None of my business, just hoping all is okay...
Spacegoat you crack me up! I probably shouldn't admit this, but New Kids was my first concert....THERE, I said it! Now you guys probably won't ever let me hear the end of it!
Thanks Kiki for the homework assignment...I'll be working on that this evening.
Just got back from my second drum lesson ~ it was a lot of fun! I need to practice!!!

Day two is winding to a close - I am drinking Sleepytime Tea and snuggling with Charlie.
Thank you Kiki for the questionnaire today - it really helped to remind me that I have a lot to be grateful for and a lot to look forward to in my life. It is so easy to get caught up in the drama of life and the internal pity party that I sometimes have for myself....a bit of a kick in the rear is helpful from time to time
Tomorrow is a new day and I am really looking forward to it!
Night all!

Not sure what this has to do with anything, but a friend of mine posted it up on FB - just thought I would share. I don't really know what to make of Brene Brown - she says kind of cool things that make me feel good - I guess I'll just leave it at that
''I think midlife is when the universe gently places her hands upon your shoulders, pulls you close, and whispers in your ear:
I’m not screwing around. It’s time. All of this pretending and performing – these coping mechanisms that you’ve developed to protect yourself from feeling inadequate and getting hurt – has to go.
Your armor is preventing you from growing into your gifts. I understand that you needed these protections when you were small. I understand that you believed your armor could help you secure all of the things you needed to feel worthy of love and belonging, but you’re still searching and you’re more lost than ever.
Time is growing short. There are unexplored adventures ahead of you. You can’t live the rest of your life worried about what other people think. You were born worthy of love and belonging. Courage and daring are coursing through you. You were made to live and love with your whole heart. It’s time to show up and be seen.''
