Morning folks. Fought with sleep last night, but got a decent amount. DD is at camp and I have a few things I need to get squared away for our NC trip before PT this afternoon.

I'll catch up more later. Have a great day everyone!

Morning, CH! Glad sleep was a little better. Hopefully in NC you'll sleep better. For some reason, I always sleep better in my parents home.

Yeah I don't get it either. I think the novelty has wore off those bingo calls, I didn't realise how LCD they were. You guys have bingo there?

Reminds me of the song by Bryan Adams though, "Back in the summer of 39!"… Or something like that… Playing catch-up with my posts.

I'm partial to the Zen koans myself. I love that Alan Watts podcast in that he mixes Eastern and Western ideas, with a good deal of humor.

I've learned more about western theology (which is still not a lot) through him than anywhere else, apparently they taught some in school.

Where was I? On another planet, 'a world of pure dissociation' no doubt. Just cleaned the oven here, gonna hit the shower. Chat you later.

Hi guys, finally checking in. Day 7. My son had a super early doctor appt this morning and we went to breakfast & shopping after.

Getting ready to take a nap. Zzzzzzz!

Lillian, Thanks for the sweet words.

Ladybug, I hope you get your blood results today so you can put your mind to rest. Don't drink!

Fabela...hopefully your just drink on ice cream or something.

Kayak, you sound great!

Bobbie, sorry you're sore! I figured you would be. Ha!

Casey, have a great day!

CH, glad your doctor went well!

Sam, glad you're not hungover today too!!! :-)

BBG, have a nice day!

Space, I've never heard of a Zen Tale. Interesting.

Missy, 43 days! Fantastic!

So this is how sick my AV is.....it's telling me I probably won't get test results back until tomorrow and if they're not good I really won't be able to drink anymore so I should just drink today ... you know, just one more time. My in-laws are coming to watch the girls in a little and I am planning on going to a meeting. Hopefully that will send my stupid AV back into its hole. Ugh.

I could so see me thinking that way, Ladybug. You'll win today. I know it. Get to that meeting. I'm so proud of you.

Kiki- I almost think you were laughing at me. Starting to shop here to get my daughter's dorm room together. That's kind of fun. We had a moment last night. It was sweet. I was so afraid I'd be sending her off angry at me.

True that.

I was being facetious, can't believe YOU! didn't notice. The italics should have given it away.

Yeah they had their own cartoon series. It was good! Had some on VHS, I dunno if they were rented or recorded or what.

Had their albums too, and probably the comics. None of this was kosher at the time but who's laughing now...

Muhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahaha (???)

I STILL HAVE their 1990 concert VHS. Showed it to my kid a few times when he was a toddler.

He was in a mesmer, we both were. (Xspecially for you, this is…)

Now where's a trauma therapist when ya need one?!

This time I'm off. Be well everyone

Day 124.

Quick check-in as I slept in crazy late and have a lot to do.

Your addiction can always find a reason to quit tomorrow, Ladybug. That's just your addiction hoping tomorrow never comes. Hang tough--remember they're just thoughts and have no real power until you put them into action. You really don't have to drink no matter what.

Hope you'll pour out anything you've got left and drink some water and get some rest, Fabela. Make this a slip and not a freefall.

Hello to everyone else. I'll check in more thoroughly later, I'm sure.

You're funny. Or strange. Or both. New Kids on the Block, Bell, Biv Devoe. Early 90's, loved that stuff then. Not sure I would admit it so much now. Sorry I missed your facetiousness. I should have known if 69 were involved, you were on top of it.

Okay, if no one is going to talk, I will.

My legs feel better if I keep moving. Getting up every hour to walk around my building adds steps to my fitbit and helps my legs loosen up.

Embiggen

Puppies

Ice Cream

oh and new baby smells

I guess I have to add new car smell too
