This was my favourite Bay City Rollers song. Ahhh...Lesley and Alan. They were my picks :-)

Shabby I never seen them before . Don't know how I missed them . Kind of in the Partridge Family type category . Those high wasted bell bottom pants . Holy Smokes . Now the pants are hanging off the guys butts . I like my men in tight jeans . Watching them walk by Dreaming
I know, right? To think we used to think those jeans looked good.
It's taken me ages to appreciate the skinny jeans thing, but I've finally come around to seeing the appeal. I bought a pair in Melbourne, but I hate wearing them. I feel like I've been squeezed into a.....(can't think of the right metaphor). You get the point.

Have to say what I'm thinking.
Hi Frank,
I've been reading your thread since the beginning. I originally started on the other side, dealing with an alcoholic friend.
I must admit I've become a little smitten with you, until you couldn't reveal your age. All the angst I have felt dealing with my alcholic friend came flooding back. The inability to be forthright. Avoiding questions, are you all the same?
What's the big deal? You are a man. Be proud of your age. It seems all your banter is superficial. I am disappointed.

Hi, Hope,
Welcome to SR. I see you joined in May but this is your very first post.
For what it's worth, I've never revealed my age here. And have no intention of doing so. Whether Frank, or anyone else, does is a matter of personal choice. My main objective here is to maintain my recovery.
I hope that SR is proving to be a helpful resource for you.

Honestly, I am more puzzled by people being annoyed that others won't reveal their age than I am people not revealing their age.
Cissy, yes Frank jokes around a lot, but there is a heck of a lot of serious stuff too. Much honest struggling with cravings and giving of support to others. You know? xxx

^^^^^^^ I ditto what Shabby is saying .. We all help each other in here . It's not all fun & games . But you don't have to be bummed out all the time either . No rules in telling your age far as I know , or opening up your very private life that I know about ??
Frank I think the problem lies with the Title to your tread Newcomers Daily Support . I imagine newcomers are looking for a different kind way to deal with keeping & staying sober ? If it keeps happening , might be a good idea to change the tread's name . Like Happy to be Sober , trying to have fun ?
