Mags i think it had to do with 2 things 1. i used to roll in discomfort on the old mattress that was on the floor & that hasnt left me yet, i know what you mean by height as mine is pretty high we'l get used to it

Pensive and nostalgic is good once in a while, I like getting out old photos and having a chuckle .

IP I don't tend to run fast it's more a slow jog. A tortoise could give me a run for my money! At least I'm covering a decent distance regularly even when I don't want to so I guess it does me some good.

Yesterday was my daughter's birthday! She is very clearly and unmistakably pregnant now, and the baby is moving. Turns out he's a boy, and due Oct. 17.
My dad is lucid this morning, and we had a few nice moments. I got to tell him I love him.

I dont think there is a right way or a wrong way to fall out of bed LOL i was sleeping one moment the next i was laughing & saying you got to be kidding me
I actually said to D on the day i got the bed i hope i dont fall out of the bed then it happened i believed thats sod's law

Oh how exciting Gilmer, and how lovely she lives close enough you get to share her pregnancy. I am glad you get to spend some lucid times with your dad too, there isn't enough money in the world to buy them so I know you will treasure them.
I have a works thing tonight, most everyone I work with is a Normie, but for some reason on works nights out they seem to want to get blootered. We have a meal followed by a musical then going on to a bar after. I will part company with them after the musical and head home to my furbaby and my bed.
How's your feet Zip you skipping yet?

Wolfie - we found with the kids when they were small that the smaller the person the greater the percentage of bed they take up!

Cushions sealtbelts youd think im in an airplane not a new bed lol thanks Rusty & Toots
So true Treerat mrs sw was taking up loads of the bed but last night we spoke & laughed then i had the best sleep of my life & i didnt fall out lol
I love our new bed mrs sw isnt used to the size change neither am i fully its like were staying in a nice hotel lol
Comfort levels through the roof & its our first full weekend in our new bed & i cant wait

Morning Overs,
I met with a new sober friend last night and ended up going to an AA meeting for the first time. It was actually really nice to hear people in person saying all the hard honest truths I think and feel in my own head and read here. It was not as scary as I had thought it would be all these years.
I was hoping the peace I left with would last me awhile but back to early wake up and crappy naps today. Oh well. Maybe if I can go with some consistency it will stay with me longer.

Evening overs. It seems all good news!
Wolfie and Mrs wolfie didn't fall out of bed, OLL had a peaceful night, Gilmer wonderful news , you're having a grandson. How lovely.
Toots, I'm sure your feet don't run like heavy foot man in the video, When I ran I was more of a stay for the course and not a sprinter! Andy, haha, my friends said the little would be all over the bed leaving them hanging onto the sides!
Hope your works outing went well, toots.
OLL , I thought when I stopped drinking everything would be perfect and fall into place, naive of me, really. We still have all the problems there but we do, eventually, learn to cope much better. Hang in there, OLL . Sounds like your meeting went good.
