Obo, watch and learn my friend, watch and learn! Tee hee.

Rocks, just keep up the momentum, you're nearly there. You've worked hard, and the results will show it. Soon you'll be able to relax and enjoy some time off. Good luck with the exams

I need to set my mind to something productive too, I'm a bit distracted at the moment. No reason, just finding it difficult to apply myself to stuff.

Hey guys, I'm here. Still clean and sober.
I was able to get some sleep last night, hopefully the cycle breaks. Often I will get a good night's sleep and then go back to not being able to sleep.
Went to the doctor yesterday and found out the results of some tests. I was fearing that I have kidney disease. I found out that I have a 1.8 cm kidney stone that I have to see a urologist about getting taken care of. Still fear that the doctor isn't telling me everything.

I think your Doc would have talked to you UP if he thought it was more than a kidney stone.....I am thinking positive thoughts & sending them your way. Have you tried any relaxation techniques or taking a hot soak before you head to bed? I think they would really help you.

You will do great on your exams Rocks & as Freein said, you will have some down time, well deserved. ((Hugs to you))

Has been a long day & I am going calling it a night sorry not to respond to everyones posts. Have a great Thursday everyone

I agree with Mariah UP - there's simply no reason for your Dr to hold anything back from you

Hi ST Mariah Freein, Obo and Rocks

Kidney stones can be really painful but there's lots of ways to treat them nowadays.

I'm sure if it was anything more serious you would know about it. It would be malpractice otherwise?

Hi all,

UP, I'm so glad to hear you're still on the path. Kidney stones can be painful, but very treatable, thank goodness. I've been told that you can make jewellery out of kidney stones, but I don't now how true that is

It's election day today, I've decided to vote Labour, after lots of consternation. It's a risk, but their policies are a bit more agreeable than the others. I feel strongly that we should stay in the EU, and the other parties may put that at risk. If Labour don't get a majority, and have to form a coalition, then I'm hoping they'll go with the Liberal Democrats, that could be a good combination.

The excitement is mounting!

Mariah, how's the new job going?

Right now I'm not really experiencing pain from the stone but have passed ones in the past.

I hope the election goes well free. It seems like here in the states it's a choice of choosing the lesser evil.

Hope you all have a great day.

I'm doing ok everyone, depressed but ok...worked out a bit today and played on swings with my fiancé haha, she's off today and making us pasta premavera from scratch...she's the best!!! Got work for a few hours tonight and that about it for me...

I have noticed something that I have been doing lately and I think it's a good thing...I'm starting to remember more of my childhood, and my father...I convinced myself that I just "forgot" this stuff and I don't think that's the truth...in fact, I'm enjoying the memories a bit instead of pushing them away I suppose...I noticed it a few times in the past few weeks, mentioning things about what my dad was like to my fiancé, and even going as far as to do things he did. I have a vivid memory of him always donating to the war vets here in America and I did the same....I think this is me dealing with stuff healthy...I think this is progress..:
