I guess it was ok, I was so focused on the door. I wanted out. Have to go to 2 a week. It will get better, I am always like this.

I went in and sat down, chairs were side by side. Someone comes up an sits right next to me, I was uncomfortable. Then another person comes and sits on the other side of me. Took everything to not head for the door.

I bet that was uncomfortable. I hope it gets easier as you go more and get to know the other people.
I had a mammogram this afternoon, so I was right there with you being uncomfortable today.

I know the feeling up for sure, the ones I went to felt the same way, when I got here I was very anti meeting all together, glad you survived

I think that anxiety pill I took earlier is kicking my butt. I don't know if I will take it again.

Hey....I just joined this forum today. Do I belong in this particular thread? The last drink I had was April 13th (actually I was drinking the night before, but it went well into the early morning of the next day, so I count that day as having drank too) ANYWAY. .....Hi?? Is this just like a hangout thread? Or accountability thread? Or...?

Welcome Lucrezia, and congratulations on one month of sobriety! We share the same quit day. Also with this date is, ScrewdUp, 3777, and ABetterLife.

The April Class is known as 'The April Fools", where you will find lots of support, we share what works for us, and what doesn't. We have lots of laughs and a few tears too.
We are just getting to know each other, some with a few days and some, like you a month or a little bit more.
Jump right in- we are super friendly!

Wow, Up- that sounds like a pretty intimidating group! I do hope you get satisfaction out of the experience as a whole. It will feel much like this group once you settle in.

Thanks Stormi! It was super easy to make, if you want the pattern let me know and I'll pm you where to find it. I knit entirely too much, sweaters, dishcloths, shawls, socks (the socks are out of control!) the list goes on and on!!

I just had a fabulous HOT bath, now I am headed to bed! I hope to not be like this smilie, but I just had to use it! So cute!
